Been busy in the garden, I currently have:

48 strawberries, 6 boisenberry, 3 blackberry, 3 raspberry, 2 blueberry, 2 concord grape, 2 red seedless grape, 1 yellow peach, 1 white peach, 2 apricot, 1 loquat, 3 navel orange, 1 murcott tangerine, 1 dancy tangerine, 1 golden nugget tangerine, 2 lemon, 3 jalapeño, 1 serrano, 1 'chocolate' habanero, 1 carribbean red habanero, 1 yellow lunch box pepper, 1 Red bell pepper, 1 'million' cherry tomato, 1 cherry tomato, 1 'sun gold' cherry tomato, 1 roma tomato, 9 patty pan/scallop squash, 4 zucchini, 6 '8 ball' zucchini, 3 collard, 9 swiss chard, 8 blue lake green bean, (not bothering to count) yellow onion and garlic.

All of my fruit bearing trees are in full swing as well as my berry plants. The veggies are slowly getting there but will be ready for summer harvest.

Some concept work~ though fun fact: the antennae for the actual insect resemble a fan so I made them look more like a hand cause surely one needs to be able to give the middle finger at some point.

Concept sketches in between work.

Not at all to be taken seriously, but this is my interpretation of the Ink Demon. Absolutely no hate in the BatDR model as the team did a very good job with the game, but it wasn't very appealing to me. When I think if a cartoon character gone horribly wrong, I think of something that is a cross of that rubberhose toon look and a monster. Something that's supposed to be familiar yet warped. BatDR Bendy works with the dark themes of the game but doesn't quite fit what I feel works for the animation studio as a whole. Going from BatIM to BatDR models is quite jarring and leaves BatDR Bendy as nearly unrecognizable as Bendy except for his head. If there was more of an in-between to show how Bendy becomes more and more monstrous, then I think it wouldn't have been so off to me. And I reiterate, this is solely my opinion and is not to be taken seriously.

Halloween Costume~

It's been a number of years, but I am currently in the process of making costumes again. I stopped making costumes for a number of reasons, but am back doing so for my own personal entertainment and challenge. As per my usual preference in costume style, it is a full body costume. My face will be covered as I'm not fond of photos of my face. This one will also only be used for Halloween cause I gotta haunt my neighborhood somehow lol.

This costume has some unique challenges in comparison to the ones I've made in the past. I am looking forward to tackling those head-on. That and I've learned some new tricks since my last costumary adventure. Also, I will be incorporating new materials I haven't worked with before on top of some old friends in the form of LED lights. Once I get the costume completed or at least enough to be comfortable enough to show, then I'll reveal who I'm making. In the meantime, that's why my artwork is a bit slow cause I have costume work, house repairs, writing, and prop work, so I bounce around a lot.

Last WIP

Am slowly chipping away with this one and am having a fucking blast! All my favorite versions of my boy in one spot.

Style wise, I'm shooting for loose and to the point. Lots of pen, rough brush, runny water and even more of not giving a hoot about being "clean". Clean lines are great, but sometimes I find it more visually appealing to have a rough scratchy look than anything else. In short, I am trying out different things for which I am eating up the outcome. Not to mention color abuse, lol.

Sorry to all you Batman fans, but I couldn't resist drawing Michael in his Betelgeuse costume after that little exchange during the Oscars. BJ definitely gives off that cocky SOB vibes to me when he isn't a manic menace.
