i get new fic ideas everyday and i just had a random thought in class; imagine an au where MK and swk’s memories become intertwined after an accident (that I have not thought of yet HAHA) and they both have random episodes where they experience/relive and feel each other’s memories. and the only reason I really thought of this au was the scenario of mk having to go through the pain of wukong’s fillet. and since mk’s mortal, unlike wukong, he has to also go through all the other tortuous things swk put his own immortal body through n stuff like when he was thrown in the trigram furnace…..idk just a random au idea, I might write it perhaps

OKK JUST HAD A REALLY RANDOM THOUGHT AND NOW THIS DYNAMIC WONT GET OUT OF MY HEAD BUT YK THAT ONE SCENE IN SHADOW PLAY WHERE MACAQUE JOKED ABT GETTING THERAPY OR WHATEVER,,, IMAGINE SANDY BEING HIS THERAPY BUD—NOT EXACTLY HIS THERAPIST, BUT LIKE A SUPPORTIVE FRIEND THATS THERE TO LISTEN and like while they talk and macaque finally gets his feelings out, they’re drinking tea and petting sandy’s therapy cats. and macaque finds himself like actually taking a liking to sandy, despite his slight repulsion at how disgustingly nice he is,, and he quickly realizes he finds comfort in his presence; and for the first time in forever, he feels like he finally has somebody to talk to. though it is slightly one-sided, sandy is satisfied enough with the fact that he was able to win over an enemy and become friends

JUST A THOUGHT & now i hc that macaque has a secret soft spot for cats 🧍‍♀️

me & my friend were talking ab lmk and then this just,, popped into existence but:

imagine mei, mk, swk, and the gang manage to defeat lbd—with the help of macaque. everyone is alive and well, lbd is sealed away and defeated for good, and they got the happy ending they’ve so longed for. the group is just kind of huddled around and celebrating, yk jumping around and stuff, while macaque stands off to the side like the lone wolf he is, watching contently. in the midst of all the happy chaos, swk locks eyes with mac. and macaque’s eyes just flutter for a moment

everything just kind of tunes out, all the cheering fading into the background. and then, what feels like 4 the first time in forever, wukong smiles at him. a sad, but genuine smile full of love and relief. and macaque can’t help but smile back. and it’s the first time in forever either of them have exchanged smiles, or even looked at each other with such fondness, such looovee. (and just,, genuinely smiled in GENERAL)

im sorry if this is cliche but this literally has the greatest chokehold on me rn 😴
