Sorry I've been pretty quiet I have a big girl job now so I've had less time and haven't really gotten around to gathering my thoughts and predictions and stuff

OH NO OKAY tons of spoilers for s3 and some s4 set pics speculation

ryan and homelander will frequently butt heads as ryan discovers the kind of person he wants to be, which strays from the idealistic son (and extension of himself) that homelander desperately wants him to be. i do feel this season will largely be the battle for ryan's soul. based on some of the set photos, he looks pretty unimpressed with the fame that daddy-dearest has thrust upon him

butcher will be faced with the choice of succumbing to the illness caused by the temp v, or taking the real stuff to cure him, turning him permanently into a supe (classic hunter becoming that which they once hunted and despised)

firecracker will be a parody pick-me girl, very pro-gun, very america and fourth of july. homelander's gonna eat that shit up

starlight level up!!! we will finally see what she's REALLY capable of. black out the whole city, turn into an atomic bomb. homelander may be the only man in the sky, but starlight is no man, and she can fly

stormfront still alive?! i am always extremely suspicious of off-screen deaths. i actively hate this one but it does seem like something kripke would do.

hughie finally picks up a specialty. idk what it's going to be, maybe he'll learn to be our hacker voice, "I'm in" guy, but after the temp v fiasco, i'm kind of struggling to think of a way for him to stay relevant in the show. i feel like they should bring back his original shtick of 'nerdy guy who knows how cables and the internet works'

The immediate replacement of Maeve with another redhead who I really think is going to be Homelander's new gf based on color scheme is just. Such good writing. From this screen grab from the new trailer we can see this person is smiley and showing more cleavage (not that there is anything wrong with that, we just know here that often isn't the heros' choices). Obviously, these are very much what Vought wanted Maeve to be- but Vough never wanted Maeve as illustrated in her no-weapon, only armor outfit. This shift with the bullets is directly tells the audience that this woman is offensive in comparison to to defensive Maeve.

🚨THE BOYS SEASON 4 CASTING NEWS🚨

Rosemarie Dewitt is joining the cast of The Boys in the role of "Hughie's Mom," along with Simon Pegg who will be returning as "Hughie's Dad." Also joining the cast in recurring roles are Rob Benedict and Elliot Knight (though their roles are TBA).

Previously announced were Susan Heyward (portraying “Sister Sage”), Valorie Curry (portraying “Firecracker”), Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Cameron Crovetti (promoted to series regular and returning as “Ryan”).

The Boys Season 4 is currently in production in Toronto.

I think we had a brief glimpse of Cate here in the teaser.

That's clearly a woman Homelander is shaking hands with, and that coat's left sleeve looks like it doesn't have an appendage to go over. 🤔

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW. it's making me insane. he's so deeply wounded and he just. misses them so badly. he either directly or indirectly killed every single one of them (save for SF maybe) and yet he can't let them go. man's just... broken. in so many ways.

tbh i'm relieved to see Noir's stuff there, i was worried he would get glossed over in favor of romantic interests. VERY curious to see if there will be evidence of anyone else on that table.
