we had a night pretty much to ourselves last night and he's so fuckin' cute y'all... he used some chhinkni and then we're instantly kissing. his little breaths right before he broke away were all choppy and then he ducks down with a little half stifle and AAAAAH! he sneezed ON me and i swear to hell and back i got goosebumps and i could NOT get close enough to him for all four of those breathy little sneezes

also!! he's making a Snarf. i mentioned about how someone had compiled data to make like a sneeze blanket or something? so he's doing something similar and recording his daily sneezes to make a sneeze scarf and i'm just... i'm a pile of goo that's so incredibly full of horn lately

Meanwhile, your partner is sitting next to you, also reading. Or playing a video game while you are watching, blinking tiredly but happy to be entertained in this way.

Or it's your friends. They're chatting, talking about their days. Watching a film. All reading. Studying. Playing cards.

And you're just sort of... there. They ignore your sniffling, don't mind when you blow your nose. They don't think you're gross or annoying. Occasionally, somebody might walk by and absent-mindedly pet your head. Squeeze your shoulder. Without even really looking at you.

"You okay?", somebody says, half-amused, when you sneeze forcefully.

"Fine", you mumble, closing your eyes again.

"You want tea?", somebody asks, but it's just an afterthought. They were already on their way to get tea for themselves.

"You warm enough? Want my jumper?", somebody offers. But it's only because they just took it off since they felt too warm.

You're literally just... there. Like a pet. Still part of it even though you can't do much. And you're so happy to simply be around them, feel included. Know you are cared for even though the illness is not that bad. Know you are loved without having to do anything for it.

Why stop at “false starts?” Why can’t we talk about ‘false sneezes?’

Where someone goes through all the motions of a sneeze without the actual sneezing part. It sounds just like a stiffened sigh, or even a cough, and it leaves the person absolutely confused. Bonus points if the sound of the sneeze is still there, too! To the point it just sounds like “aUh-hheuh-!!” Or “ehh’Hhuw..!”

Still comes with runny nose and everything, it’s just that the actual substance of the sneeze was lost out of complete desperation, leaving them unsatisfied (and possibly still needing to sneeze).

I just wanna hold subby and needy boy with a sneezy cold, who desperately sneeze into my shoulder or neck, who whimpering and complain about itchy feeling in his nose.

so we had our first sleepover thursday into friday and i've been organizing my thoughts since then. right as we were waking up he goes and says, all stuffy: "ugh yeah definitely allergies..." s w o o n later in the morning, bf reminded me he wanted to try sneezing for me so i got out the chhinkni, showed him how, and helped portion it out for him. y'all i can't those sneezes were so cute, desperate and forceful little "hihT'SHiew!"s that have been on repeate non-stop in my brain. i wanna ask to hold him if we do that again because fuuuck i wanna feel all of that. i don't remember how many there were because i was so distracted by the moment, but at least more than five? i was just absolutely lost in the sauce, i kept leaning over to kiss him too lmao

and today we talked more about him being all allergic while we're out on dates together soon and i'm a puddle of queer goo rn, folks. spring is going to end up being my new favorite season at this rate.
