so Sprigpaw is pretty basic as far as designs go, so to make up for that, he gets a lot of extra doodles, aka, my attempts to draw some of his various faces from the show but on a cat.

Amphibicats Breed Headcanons

DISCLAIMER!! not all of these are gunna be accurate color indicators of the characters!! im just giving some basic examples of the breeds we’ve based the manny characters on

SO!! starting off with calamity trio! since they’re all kittypets at the

-As previously stated in my post about her, Anne is a Thai Cat. Me n Viv chose this breed for coloration, AND because Anne being Thai is a big part of her character in the show that she talks about A LOT. We also decided to mix her with ragdoll cats to give a lil size/floof boost. Can’t have Ann without her floof!!

-We originally planned Marcy is a shadow-ghost tabby, we are officially making her a black bengal. They are very social, playful breeds. They are also very intelligent, averaging around 3rd on most of the lists i saw.

-Sasha is an Egyptian Mau. Viv thought the somewhat designer cat breed was fitting and i agree. Of the trio, Sash was def the most spoiled in her kittypet life. we’re probably going to be drawing her a bit more “blonde” in coloration, but this is a warriors AU, since when have the original warriors ever had realistic colors and genetics

for most of the others, they aren’t REALLY any particular breed, though we DO have breeds we’ve based them on!

-littlehop (Toadie) is a munchkin cat (which isn’t actually a breed, but a genetic effect that can happen to most if not all breeds) he also does not have a tail. We havn’t decided if this a breed thing, or if he just lost it

-Toadstar (Mayor Toadstool) is a scottish fold. They just have a very rounnd appearance and i found it fitting for him

-NGL, we’re kinda puching it with Tidalstar (andrias). he’s just a whole-ass half breed of a norwegian forest cat and a bobcat. idk the validity, but i’ve seen a couple sources say that bobcats cat breed with house cats, and so we ran with it. basically we just did this so we had an excuse for him to be LORGE

why are there owl house characters in an amphibia AU (aside from general multiverse) wouldn't they be like, tribe of rushing water or something??

so, we mostly needed to fill up some spots in the three clans, but they all have their own part of the AU that happened prior to calamity trio joining the clans. Not gunna talk too much about that cause spoilers

basically shit went down a while back, Luz and gang are all warriors/young adults now, so it’s been a while since that all went down

How old is everyone in the warriors AU??

So! Calamity trio are all 10 moons at the start of the AU Sprig/Sprigpaw is 9 moons, Polly/Sweetkit is 3 moons (the math checks out I promise)

the only other ages we have are the other kits and Maddie. Maddie/Yewpaw is 10 moons, her little sisters are all 2 moons, and since we made Microangelo and Bessie cats as well in this AU, Micro-buddy is a Kit as well, though he's only like, a week old when Ann shows up in Wartclan

so i drew more cats for the warriors AU. Here we have Mrs. Croaker: Spiderpelt Ivy: Ivypaw (Ivypounce) Mayor Toadstool: Toadstar Toadie: Tinyhop

Toadstar is the leader of Wartclan (an homage to Wartwood) Tinyhop is just his most loyal warrior, not his deputy. Wartclan’s deputy is Tulipsprout (Chuck) whom i have yet to draw

Spiderpelt is a cooky old cat living in the elder’s den and she likes to keep spiders for fun

Ivypaw is an apprentice with Sprigpaw, I don’t have mentors assigned to them yet

starting this blog off strong with the AU i’ve been drawing the most art for! This one is a collaborative AU between me and a friend of mine (who unfortunately doesn’t have a tumblr). Featured her is her design for Ann in my style. we decided on a long-furred Thai Cat (technically Thai cat mixed with a ragdoll)
