The next time you need to go to a formal event - or any event for that matter - there is no excuse for boring shoes. These new beauties by Rachel Antonoff x Bass are the perfect mix of adorable and badass. At $159, they're not cheap. But they don't qualify as a bank breaker, either. Keep your eye on the Bass website, as these are still listed as "Coming Soon." We will be buying a pair.

Have literally not been able to get this song out of my head this week. The original sounds pretty tame, but this Adventure Club remix makes it the perfect soundtrack to a cloudy Tuesday.

Lesbro # 1 - Timmy Mislock (Guitar // The Antlers)
My style can be described relatively easily: band t-shirts. Band t-shirts tend to be the cornerstone of my day-to-day outfits. I am wearing a Joan Jett shirt while writing this. Friend’s bands, favorite idols, touring mates… you name it, I’ve got a scrapbook of my life in short-sleeved cotton.
I also really enjoy getting dressed up for night’s out on the town with my girlfriend Deenie. One of my favorite recent purchases is a pair of wool trousers from In God We Trust. On tour I always bring my black jean jacket that I bought in London a few years ago. I also love colored and printed socks. Most of mine are from Tesco because they have cheap but fun striped socks, and the others are mostly from Urban Outfitters.
Lastly, I love my Stacy Adams Madison ankle boots. I have owned three pairs this year alone because I destroy them super quickly on tour (they are my favorite show shoes).
To sum it up, I would describe my style as familiar. I always come back to the same shirts and the same outfits. That familiarity gives me confidence.

I haven't even seen Spring Breakers yet, but whether or not I'm going to enjoy the movie, I am very much enjoying its collaboration with Opening Ceremony. Throwback basketball-style jerseys and your choice of regrettable tattoo imagery? What more could you want for your trashy summer? Plus, at $60 each, they're cheaper than OC's usual offerings.

Are these not the most gorgeous things you've ever seen?  These were most recently purchased as a gift for a friend of ours who shares a fascination with all things out of this world.  They are tasty too!

The post-holiday season for many is time spent feeling uncomfortable with the 5lbs we just gained, making resolutions to be healthier and more active.  Sometimes our jeans don't fit quite as glove-like as before.  That's okay, because there is a stylish alternative to fill the void (and so cool, in fact, that you may stop wearing jeans all together).
Leggings.  Tis the season for pants that are both comfortable and stylish...thank god someone like Blackmilk Clothing came along to give us such an option.  I'm a bit obsessed lately.  You should be too.

I know Christmas has come and gone in a flash, but it's never a wrong time to buy yourself home goods that make everything smell amazing.
Some favorites from San Francisco's Unionmade have been keeping the apartment smelling incredible this winter.
The Unionmade KML candle smells like the woods... at night...near a campfire. It's pretty close to perfection. The Mill candle smells like fresh air. Can't get more specific than that. To top it off, the Baxter's of California bath soap has beautiful hints of Bergamot and leaves you feeling extra fresh.
In short, there's really no excuse not to smell incredible this year.

Bow ties have long been felt to be masculine or nerdy, occasionally dapper but rarely feminine. Bored with the usual options for formal attire, these companies are leading the way in exciting and beautiful new bow tie designs, materials, colors and fabric.
