op I was never over wishing them in a cdrama style super cliche kind of family show with tons of angst in it but it's the two of them playing the couple. imagine them trying to get divorced for 40 episodes straight but nuh uh no gentlemen this a prime time domestic show. what kind of niche heaven is that
so call me by fire season 3 will start next week. i watched the preview episode this week, and it was so good. i love so many of the dilfs they invited this season: cai guoqing, lu yi, hu bing, lin zhiying, shin, and lastly the very talented and funny wang yaoqing. (i picked three of my fav posters: hu bing, wang yaoqing, lu yi)
you know, ever since three body, i kinda play six degrees of zhang luyi whenever i watch a cdrama or cvariety. and there's a strong wang yaoqing connection because they worked together before. more importantly, this happened:
he freaking liked to work with zhang luyi the best, awwwwwww!!!!! and for this reason, wang yaoqing will always get bonus points from me lol.
and this is the show they filmed together. can't believe they turned a cishet family show about two pairs of married couples into this lol:
can't blame the viewers for thinking the two look like a domestic couple when they kept having scenes in the bedroom, kitchen, laundry room, and the restaurant (to have a nice date) lol...

sooo i've always wanted to do something for the non-weibo side of the fandom and also my fav shiwang fic in chinese and here i am, translating it into english as a way of rejoicing the story and spreading the joy it brings me<3
this is a work in progress in both languages, and as author (and hopefully me) works on it gets gripping, rich in textures and themes, generally one hell of a read.
tl;dr/mild spoiler: after they got seperated by sq's hibernation, wm gets his brain preserved til 300 years later(the Bunker Era as in the trilogy's book 3 timeline) and the rest of his body cloned so that he can see sq again when sq wakes up.

Note from OP: It was too long for gifs to show the duration (I had to cut out a lot of frames from the second to last gif), but Wang Miao and Shi Qiang kept looking at each other for full 20 seconds after the ambulance started to drive away, and probably only stopped because they couldn’t see each other anymore. At the same time, soft and tender music started to play in the background. You might think 20 seconds are very short, but they could be unnecessarily long in cinematic works unless the director wants to emphasize something.
