Today I was told I was no longer invited to a party because my friends aren’t the type of people they want there.
I myself have been invited in the first place due to an old friendship group who are pretty and sociable, I would like to say the same for myself. I however, have been stabbed in the back by these people and now know their true colours my new group are real people who lift me up every single day. But…
they don’t make the cut?
I find it hard to understand that people can believe themselves to be above others on the basis of how daring, open, gossipy or pretty they are. Its not just high school, I am sure it happens in offices aswell.
I always thought I was above certain people because I partied more or I dressed better and I hate how shallow I let myself become.
All I am saying is its easy to accept the pecking order of friendship groups in schools or work, but don’t fall to it because you never know who’s really there for you when you step outside the circle.
