So! Recs. We love them. @ds30below saw some wonderful lists, old and new. Here's another gem of a resource i wanted to share:
LJ user viciouscats used to keep vast and detailed masterlists of dsc6d fic, sorted by themes/tropes/characters.

Last thing I ate: uhhh how do you even say it. rice porridge? but russian, not asian. it's kasha. just rice boiled with milk and a little salt. the only form i can handle rice in, beside curry. it's good for the ol' tummy.

Sleep: funny you should ask, i'm making a coffee
Currently reading: eh. i guess nothing, i fell out of habit again. kinda sad, kinda can't find it in me to care i'm so tired.

favourite line thingie
beware, a short line of tag game posts incoming as i catch up on them.
both @allofthebeanz and @juniperpomegranate tagged me for this: "Let's all show off how amazing our writing skills are! Choose a sentence from your latest wip or published fic that you're proud of."
i don't think even the pride and joy of my lines constitute "amazing", but they are sometimes neat.
my wips... the less said of them, the better. this is why i'm skipping all the writing tags lately haha. as for latest published fic, that would be (ignoring the one from 2021 i put up later) cynosure.
In the car—his face, like one of those hologram cards they put in comic books, relief tucked behind the tilt of his mouth, the ghosts around the corners of his eyes flickering in and out with the pools of sodium lights passing by.
it's exactly the kind of mildly overwrought thing i really love reading and am proud of when i manage to write it haha.
