I’ve put on nearly 35 lbs since a doctor told me I’ve gorged my way into diabetes. It has been hard - dry mouth makes eating a chore, and oral medication hasn’t been particularly effective at pushing my blood glucose into my fat cells. However, we begin titrating insulin soon.

absolutely, my stomach gets in the way sometimes when i bend over, i feel my thighs rubbing together and i’ve never really felt that before, and i sweat more… not my favorite aspect but i used to always be cold so its an improvement nonetheless 😅
