My name is ELENA MOLINA. I borned in Andalusia (Spain) and I'm teacher and dancer of FLAMENCO. When I was 4 years old, my mother took me to dance to school district. Since then, that I do, DANCE! This is my shared space, made for my students (anxious to learn more about flamenco) or my friends (who ask me where I am now), or for anyone who likes FLAMENCO, art, dance...

About "Fandangos"
Always I liked the Fandangos de Huelva, dance and listen. A gem! Some verses and so true! Worldly truths, truths of the heart, truths of reason or the heartbreak and love, uncertain or certain truths...
That's the fandango, lot in a few words!!!!
Here, you have an example that I like and that speaks of silence.
And in the next post, a version of Fandangos de Alosno from Pitingo. I know, I know... Some modern, but clear!!! Fusion for all ears!!!
This is especially for my students, for they can practice where to put the remate. Pay attention!!! The singer can extend the verse and occupy more compases, so listen and understand when finish with him. GOOD LUCK!

At some moment, when I am dancing, I go up the rhythm. Behind, my mates follow me, and everything happens. I don´t know when I will finish, but suddenly I feel it and I do it. Then, something stays in the air... It´s the magic of FLAMENCO!!!
For us, the Flamenco people, for to talk about this accion we say UP AND CLOSE, in spanish, SUBE Y CIERRA! Later, in stage, the rest depend on you...
