In other news, I should have the next chapter of “I Will Face the Gods” out Friday at the latest. Here’s a preview:
It wasn’t a fight, he knew that much. Minsc had spent a lot of time in physical fights and as such, thought himself apt at identifying them from a distance (being correct around half the time). This was more an argument, muddled raised voices carrying down the stairs just enough for him to pick up on. He froze, and looked to Boo, who’d climbed from his pocket to his shoulder.
“Minsc is unsure if he wishes to go further,” he said. Earlier in his life, he would have burst in, facing whatever awaited him head on, but after more than a dozen times of being yelled at for either “not minding his own business” or “ruining the mood” he’d finally started to think at least twice.
“You will never do anything in this world without courage,” Boo said. “It is the greatest quality of the mind next to honor.”
Boo was right. Best to push forward; after all, he had thought twice. That was more than he usually did.

More explorations through the parsed dialogue files. The nymph in Sharess's Caress (the one whose Fist client turns into a mind flayer) offers you a "moment of ecstasy" in return for saving her life - and apparently there are some character-specific dialog options for all of the origin characters (minus Lae'zel and plus Minsc) regarding their deepest desires. And I'm kinda having a lot of feelings about it.
