I think the Summerdreams are faeries through and through. Not just humans with wings and pointy ears.
They're mischievous, not malicious, but annoying, and play practical jokes on people without intending any harm. They're blamed for small things like shiny objects going missing, and claim they were only borrowing your grandmother's pearls.
They have the capability to curse, of course, but they also bless others so long as they receive a sweet treat in return.
I imagine that their social norms are different compared to their human peers, but despite their strange customs and somewhat unpredictable nature, they're still well-liked among the community. But that doesn't mean they haven't stepped on anyone's toes.

yk guys. two years ago when i only started to be an active member of ts2 fandom i stood upon a statement which claimed that shippering tank and johnny is very wrong and tankjohnny shippers are not welcome in the fandom. and since then i always avoided this ship... it felt kinda wrong? i actually don't even remember why
but seeing people draw more of them rn, and drawing (and loving) tank more makes me extremely happy! turns out i enjoy tankjohnny pretty much a lot lol :) so thanks to everyone who creates content for those two! <3

I can't believe I have nearly 200 followers. I know that is not much in the grand scheme of things, nor should it matter, but it's still more than I ever imagined.
Sometimes I think I'm not cut out for this, like having an audience is too overwhelming (regardless of the size), but I really do love this community enough to stay. I guess I just have bad memories from my old blog 😔 I have to unlearn a lot of unhealthy online habits. I think I get too wrapped up in trying to please people I've never met.
Regardless, I just want to say that I appreciate the support. The sims has a really special place in my heart and I'm glad I can share that with others.

Secondly, Romani people have a rich and varied history and have made important contributions beyond magic, including art, music, and literature.
While it is true that Romani people were very influential in magic during the Renaissance period, that does not negate the negative impact that negative stereotypes have on Romani people. In this case, the matchmaker falls under the stereotype of Romani people being associated with dark magic and fortune telling.
I think we should listen to the perspectives of the affected individuals. But, at the end of the day, I think we can all agree that racial stereotypes are bad. Also, sometimes, our favorite media perpetuates them. Even something like the sims.
