Pretty in pink by Valentino

The new Valentino collection is a tribute to our inner version of Barbie. At first glance, it made us relive the fantasy of our childhood where pink was a symbol of our sassiness. The show that Piccioli has given us was surreal in a movement of extreme simplicity: covering the catwalk, the walls, and the models from head to toe in pink. And yet each piece retains its leading role. The Italian designer has achieved beautiful evening dresses, sobriety, and extravagance in the same piece, straight and simple cuts with a unique and fun color. There are also pieces with outstanding sparkle and pizzazz, a fuchsia pink sequined jumpsuit, little pink dresses with sleeves off the shoulders, and substantial furry coats, all pink! However, the absence of color was present with completely black looks. There were also glitter and long trench coats with elegance and versatility. Moschino decor

The decor of the most elegant baroque room comes to life thanks to the new Moschino collection by Jeremy Scott. Indeed, to more than one, this collection reminds us of the Disney movie "Beauty and the Beast" in particular Lumiere or Din don. And it is because if anyone can transform a watch or a wardrobe into a piece of clothing and even do it in a fun and sexy way, that is Jeremy Scott. A series of  tailored suits walked the runway when suddenly we see pieces with a print that alludes to drawers. Bella Hadid enters the runway in a black dress with a door lock-shaped neckline, immediately Gigi appears in a brown dress that reminds us of the chest of drawers from the aforementioned film. Among the most exuberant items, we find headdresses in the form of a lampshade, a chandelier, a harp-dress with strings made of basins, a fantasy without a doubt. Aside from the extravagance, our favorite touches were the use of red velvet in several pieces and the closing show of Jeremy dressed as an astronaut, a designer who never ceases to amaze. Fendi starter in Milan Fashion Week

The collection mixes peachy fantasy, neutral colors, and a camel and denim blue contrast. The pieces have a pseudo-executive tint, which highlights the feminine silhouette. Some details of faux fur give us funky-soft air in pastel tones. One of the favorite elements is the transparency representing the lightness that the designer wanted to project, apart from the pieces of a material that resembles camel-colored leather that exudes sensuality. The collection is another demanding and imaginative example of Jones as a tailor. Glenn Martens, new school of fashion. 

One of the designers that has captivated us has recently participated in haute couture under the Jean Paul Gaultier atelier wing. His name is Glenn Martens, and he is of Belgian origin. His vision is refreshing, daring, and loaded with youthful, versatile layers. There are too many things that the fashion of these times seeks and rewards. His innovative and creative style is understandable because this young designer is barely 24 years old and has an extraordinary resume at his age. Marten's dynamism allowed him to make in a matter of weeks not only a collection for the Gaultier house but also a collection for the Diesel brand. He serves as creative director, and, as if that was not enough, he also made an entire collection for his brand Y / Project. Jacquemus and Bad Bunny

This weekend on Jacquemus social media, the designer left us waiting for the new face for his latest campaign. In the stories, he said that one of his favorite artists would be the surprise element for presenting his new collection. The campaign was revealed this Monday with the artist at the moment no other than the rapper Bad Bunny. We can appreciate a very LA vision with a spring climate enjoying the sun and heat in the photographs. The clothes, our central theme, are pastel and tropical colors, making us yearn for the spring break and wear those looks where the main garments are shorts and matching suits. A genderless clothing line is presented as soon as we see the singer in a dress and heels. Bad Bunny has always been an artist who experiments and is open to any style or type of clothing, and its versatility and daring are admired. Prada, seduce with the minimum.

Simons and Prada join forces once again with a collection where minimal, straight cuts and neutral tones combined with bright colors like red and orange stand out; the use of leather is presented in a way that only Prada could achieve. Leather jackets incorporated corsets and button closures. The collection highlights mini dresses and pencil skirts. The dresses are sober and delicate from the front, but when looking at the back of the models, you could see their backs almost wholly uncovered, wasting sensuality. On the other side, satin miniskirts in shades of chartreuse and pink were combined with long tails like giant ribbons that glided elegantly along the floor. Lastly, our favorite sweaters featured built-in bra cups, giving them a refreshing new structure and mini belts on the forearms that provide them with an air of strength that we love. Louis Vuitton: Abloh's memorable sceneries 

After seeing the latest Louis Vuitton collection, beyond the clothes themselves, we were amazed by the scenery, something that has characterized the brand while it was in the hands of Virgil Abloh. For this reason, we want to recapitulate the visual spectacles that we have seen, the backgrounds through which the garments of the iconic fashion house were paraded. - For the Spring 2019 debut show, the designer was inspired by "We Are the World" by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie. His unifying interpretation of we are all one, regardless of color, nationality, identity, or generation, was to place a vast rainbow as a walkway, and we were captivated. - For his following collection, MJ's inspiration continued because the scenery was the recreation set of the iconic Billie Jean video, an approach to New York at that time. - For his fall 2020 show, we were presented with a fantastic, surreal setting with a blue sky, white clouds, and various tools used by the artisans in the sewing house. Finally, we can't help but think of the Truman Show with that ladder from which the models descended. - The next iconic setting occurred in the fall of 2021, whose space immediately reminded us of the iconic Barcelona Pavilion, a building designed in 1929 by Mies Van Der Rohe and Lily Reich. André Leon Talley: pioneer in the world of fashion. 

After the unfortunate news of the death of the once editor of Vogue magazine, André Leon Talley, we wanted to revisit the trajectory of the fashion icon who revolutionized the industry by crossing racial lines. Talley, of humble origins, grew up with his grandmother. After going to Brown University, he got a master's degree in French Literature. He lived quietly and always followed the rules, but something much greater awaited him in his life. Talley entered the fashion world under Diana Vreeland as an intern at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, then moved on to Interview magazine, Women's Wear Daily, and the New York Times. Taking on the position of director of fashion news in Vogue in 1983 made him the first man of color to reach such a rank in the magazine. By 1988 he was appointed as the creative director until 2013. His talent and attitude led him to be associated with personalities such as Andy Warhol. He was often the only African-American person in fashion shows and was the first to write about designers of color. Therefore, he was a before and after in the fashion industry. Martien Rose Lookbook SS22

When it comes to creativity, Martine Rose never disappoints us. For its new collection, Rose introduced unique photographs with long-lived models, vintage hairstyles and futuristic garments that at the same time remind us of the fashion of previous decades, without a doubt a timeless collection that we love to find. The sportswear/casual wear that we didn't know we needed. Bomber jackets, ensembles, printed jeans, Ferraris, and cars in the background all of these outfits invite us to want to get into a sports car and drive down the road. These garments seem to have the power to make you feel million dollars, yet casual at the same time. Our favorite: the satin light lilac suit. A great success for Martine Rose. The Prada Boys

With the new launch of the Prada 2022 campaign with Tom Holland as the protagonist, the moments in which the brand dressed big names in Hollywood came to mind. Today we present the boys of Hollywood for Prada. The collection in Milan autumn-winter 2012 delighted us with the presence on the catwalk of high-caliber actors such as Gary Oldman, Adrien Brody and Jamie Bell, Willem Dafoe, an almost film scene. This event had happened just a few days ago with Asa Butterfield, Kyle MacLachlan, Thomas Brodie Sangster and Jeff Goldblum walking the fall-winter 2022 show. It was no surprise that the actor has proudly worn the brand several times. In the campaigns, to mention a few, Scoot McNairy, Tye Sheridan and Michael Shannon appeared for the Prada fall-winter 2015 campaign, and the list goes on: Ethan Hawke, Dane DeHaan and Ezra Miller. Gucci x The North Face

In case you missed it (though we doubt it), here is our review of Gucci x The North Face in their second collaboration. Through the lens of French twins Jalan and Jibril Durimel, the new collection was presented in unrivaled landscapes of Iceland. The photographs show the models with the clothes in contrasting environments, from green hills, volcanic lands, and glaciers, which warns us that the collection is prepared for everything that the nature of our present-day life can bring us. We are presented with typical Gucci prints on the North Face puffy jackets, unique bags in their style, and warm colors that make us forget a little about the cold around us. Givenchy Spring 2022 ready-to-wear

The designer built a large oval runway for the event where more than 70 models walked with an original soundtrack in the background. The garments ranged from column dresses that were inlaid with large and thick sequins, the reinforced bolero jackets took form through microplissé structures and, for the feet, Swedish dominatrix-ish boots - already distinctive of Williams - up to the knee. What was remarkable about this particular collection was the brand's collaboration with New York artist Josh Smith, of whom he interpreted his semi-abstract paintings through his vision. Resort collection 2022 by MM6 Maison Margiela

The new resort collection 2022 by MM6 Maison Margiela has fascinated us. We are talking about a total of 22 looks captured in what looks like a patio and in natural light. Quite relaxed outfits and loose garments and a reduced range of colors highlight the black color for pants that appear to be leather and for an irregular dress with a polo neck that we loved. Among many neutral tones, a bright orange contrasts and goes wonderfully with that baby blue of the shirts and the beige of other garments. Details to highlight are the print on a shirt and a t-shirt, and it’s because as you can see on one side of the neck, the image of hair falls, in a very realistic way, a beautiful detail. It is a collection of garments to wear on the street, but they can also save you from a somewhat more formal event thanks to the bags that also look spectacular.
