Gotcha! :)
Okay, so my previous co-stories were always written alternately. One writer starts with a scene block and the second writer either gets straight into this scene or starts their own scene block first.  The characters can meet within the first scenes or only in the course of a few posts, this is decided spontaneously. A fixed storyline is not necessary at the beginning, you simply experiment with the reactions of your co-writer and  try out ideas that you couldn't accommodate in other stories. It sounds a bit complicated at first, but you get into it very quickly as you adapt to the other writer.
I, for one, have a lot of ideas and set designs in my head that I would like to try out. In fact, I already have an opening post in mind, but I'd have to know what time period we want to play in.
The timeline from your beautiful story or already the time of the Hazbin Hotel?
Personally, I would prefer the present (i.e. 2024) but I would also like to go back to the old-fashioned timeline where Tissy and Alastor come from. I'm open to anything :p
Hu... that was a bit of info, all clear so far? Otherwise, I'll send you an excerpt from an old co-story so you can see how we did it back then.
Ooooh, this sounds *fun* for so many reasons. I am always game to try new things and this would definitely help save me from the writer's block that happens on occasion, since it would be a different creative outlet.
I'm happy to play in any sandbox you set up. I'm comfortable in the past, the distant past, the present, hell even the future (my story will catch up to the present and beyond, btw) so the time doesn't scare me. As long as I'm the one answering to start with, I think I'd be open to just about anything. I don't have anything particular in mind to start, but I'm sure I can answer your opening. I'll just need a moment to get into the headspace (I'm dug into Tissy and Alastor right now like a tick).
All clear over here!
