it's so frustrating the way the tcc is relentlessly targeted. so many people get termed and never come back. people get tired of always being on their toes and having to live with the constant worry of ''is my account still here or is it gone?'' it bothers me how much i'm paranoid for my account. i shouldn't have to be. i still think about blogs that i looked at in the beginning, blogs that i stalked, and now theyre gone, termed and never back. there's only a small amount of people that routinely come back and reconnect with their mutuals every time they get termed, and some just give up, which is understandable, because you don't know how long you'll last. it might be a week, it might be a month, it might be a few days. it's extremely tiresome.

the vast majority of people on here are not threats. having an interest in a criminal or a crime does not make you that criminal or crime.

i've had an interest in true crime and all things morbid for as long as i can remember, but always denied that it was there because i didn't wanna be more cast away than i already was. having a genuine, morbid interest in tragedies and crime is frowned upon, but it doesn't make people who have that interest any less human. we're just trying to exist. just trying to find community.

in a world where individuality and uniqueness is encouraged, people in this community are still shoved away and treated like garbage. make that make sense.
