When you have a character that practices a marginalized religion, especially ones that don’t adhere to christian-centric norms, you need to understand that it is not only about religious practices, but a part of a culture that is intrinsically linked to that person. Erasing aspects that are tied to religions that are so closely linked with culture is erasing a large part of that character’s identity. Perhaps if you are ignorant to the practices of these cultures, just don’t play those sims rather than removing a huge part of who they are and representing them in a way that completely erases their culture.

hi!! i used to be over at @whirlio but i thought starting a new blog would better reflect who i am now that it's been 3ish years since i last opened the game..
my pronouns are she/her and i used to go by my irl nickname but i'd appreciate it if going forward you could refer to me as either my current @ or fae / fearfae for short!
not everything has changed though !! i still like to use these bad boys (* ^ ω ^) and imagine my content will still largely be the same (recolors, lookbooks, the occasional edit) but i'll be sharing more of my chill/random gameplay i think!
