currently thinking about james potter being the ultimate swiftie. whenever he cooks dinner for you, chicken or curry or pasta or whatnot, he always shuffles taylor's entire discography, and you guys make a little game to see who can guess the song in the shortest amount of time. (you win, but it's always close.) in the summer, he drives with the windows down and soaks up the sun and sings out loud, wind breezing through his messy curls: cruel summer, new romantics, karma, style, london boy- all of his favorites.1989 and lover are his albums, and no one can convince him otherwise. (he even takes a bunch of polaroids with you and you guys may or may not recreate the 1989 photoshoot, red lipstick and all...there are definitely no lipstick stains on his face by the end of it /s.) he's positive that lover (or invisible string) is going to be the first dance song at your wedding- he even makes sure to practice with you, slow dancing in the kitchen and dipping you, dropping a gentle kiss on your lips and promising that "the real one's going to be perfect, darling, just wait n' see." oftentimes you find him singing you belong with me in the shower, and sure, his voice isn't exactly cut out for singing but you love him just the same, because he's james, and he's the most lovely boy in the entire world. ♡

i just finished reading the first book in the court if thorns and roses series…. i’m disgruntled. i don’t know how to feel.
