vampire verse: seeing how things were going between Roza and her family, Jareth offered her to turn her into one of his kind... and it was only too bad things between them fell apart too quickly afterwards. now Roza was left with only two people to trust. but could their safety be trusted with her newfound bloodlust?

and not just that. the side effects of the change - vulnerability to sunlight and being suspended between life and death - were such a huge pain in the back that Roza chose to conceal herself from the world in her house, barely surviving off the blood of any badly injured or dying wild animals from the nearby forest.

on the bright side, this meant she was now able to live a long, long time. not forever, but long enough to be alive while some of her favorite artists from the distant past are also alive. and that's nice...

fairy tale verse: growing up, Roza was kept in the dark about her mother being a talentless thief and thought it was her father's fault that they split. (the truth was, he was a more gifted artist than her Roza's mother, and he earned the family's coin.)

she was also never told who her father was; she was told he was out of the picture too fast (the truth was, her mother had made him leave).

because she could create art that was enchanted - paintings and drawings could become real and even make their admirer's wishes happen - and because she looked a lot like her father, Roza's mother locked her up, then sold the house where she was locked.

there were no buyers however as rumours spread that it was cursed. the mother was forced to find another lodging and truly start anew - not what she had been planning - and she'd only come back to make Roza create "normal" paintings and sell them. also, every other day she'd buy her daughter food with the money from the paintings.

frustrated, eventually Roza's mother would be seen around the house less and less, and more and more an orange cat would start being seen where it was not seen before. are you curious enough to follow it?

♣ hello friends!

as it stands, my husband and I are about $17k in debt. While I'm definitely not asking that much, I need around $600 to get through. I don't anticipate getting that much, certainly, but anything helps and I can't do much until I get my earring shop set up.

i'm having a real hard time with money as of late, and it's getting harder and harder to make ends meet without throwing myself into wild debt. so, to help me get through this rough patch, i'm gonna do small commissions!

What I will be offering are simple sketch commissions. I will clean up the sketch so it looks nice, but it'll still overall be a sketch.

They are pay what you want, but I'd really appreciate a minimum of $4-$5. I'm not going to be particularly picky though.

For $2 extra, I will add a neutral base color with a gradient.
