Looking for a fic from fanfic net if you remember it? It's an AU where Anakin doesn't fall but he and Padme decide to separate for the safety of the twins so Anakin raises Leia among the rebels and on the run while Padme raises Luke in the public eye and keeps his father's identity a secret and Luke doesn't know he has a sister until his and Leia somehow meet one day after Padme is ambushed and he has to go with Anakin and Leia to save her - but it was really well written?

It's 230k and hits pretty much every item on your list and, yes, it's very good! And it's completed and great for settling in to read with and juggling a really big cast and things happen, like, not everything goes smoothly and there are new characters that have to pop up and sometimes things go genuinely wrong and so I love it for the plot just as much as the characters!

I especially loved the episode of Geonosis when Anakin and Ahsoka litterally lift this poor boy over the edge and they just jump like its nothing. And poor Rex is just screaming the whole way down.
Also this look when he spots Obi Wan coming and he’s supposed to stand guard while Anakin is “not having a meeting with his secret wife”

When Ahsoka pauses and struggles at the break in the fight, it was really meant to portray the toll it took on her to compete against Maul. I knew Maul had to lose this fight, but I didn’t want to make it easy. I wanted it to take a lot out of Ahsoka to compete at his level. He is the stronger sword fighter, but he is very overconfident; part of Maul’s character is that he underestimates his opponents and he fails time and again to overcome this flaw. Still, it should be difficult for Ahsoka, and it should take all of her focus and the ability to control her fear to allow her to defeat Maul in the end. ― Dave Filoni
