Greetings:
There is something refreshing about silence in the morning. Enjoy the stillness, the tranquility, the peace of just soaking in the quiet time.
Relax and bask in the quiet before the sun rises.
Too often we get caught up in the sounds of busy all around us in a very busy fast-paced world that thrives on robbing us of our time of silence.
I wonder at times if we don't let the noise of the world keep us from hearing the voice of God.
Silence is indeed hard to find.
There seems to be no escape from loud music, loud machines, noisy generators, and loud voices.
But the kind of noise that endangers our spiritual well-being is not the noise we can’t escape, but the noise we invite into our lives.
Some of us use noise as a way of shutting out loneliness.
Some of us use noise as a way of shutting out our own thoughts. Hearing other voices and opinions keep us from having to think for ourselves or dwell on our own problems.
Psalm 131:2 says, “I have calmed and quieted my soul.”
Don't let the chatter and loudness of the world all around us keep us from hearing what God has to say. But to hear, we have to be able to listen.
That place of silence is a place where God has our full attention
That place of silence is a place where we can pray and and very importantly a place where we can listen.
That place of silence is a place where we can pour out our souls and open our hearts to God's direction. It is a Place where we plan and a place to receive comfort from the loving arms of God.
That place of silence is a place where are burdens can be laid down and real inner healing can begin.
Everyone has a different place where they can find silence.
We must remember not to let the busy sounds of the world keep from letting us hearing voice of God.
Silence is medicine to our soul.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
My faith is my rock. It's my strength and gives me that inner peace that is beyond carnal understanding.
Because of our faith we are not fearful when we are faced with a walk through the pathway of the unknowns, uncertainty and doubt. Our faith paves it with joy and confidence in what is true.
Faith has several elements – being convinced of the truth, being certain of reality, having evidence of unseen things, and believing, hoping in, embracing, seizing the truth.
I like what Hebrews 11:1 has to say about faith in the New Living Translation. It reads: "Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see."
Though we don't see faith, we can feel faith and understand faith by reading God's Word. We can learn about faith by recalling the walk of others who faced tall mountains, but turned to prayer and called on their faith to get them through their hopeless situations.
We are no different.
Faith is a decision.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
The Lord does not want us to live in fear and worry. He wants us to live in blessed assurance and confidence that the door He has opened for us cannot be closed by anyone.
When the Lord opens a way for us, we should not try ourselves to close it. Sometimes the Lord may lead us in a difficult path. At such times we should not try to escape from it.
When we’re obedient and diligent to obey what God is telling us, he will open up doors of opportunity that we never saw coming.
We read about open doors in Isaiah 54:1-2 where it is written: “This is what the Lord says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I take hold of to subdue nations before him and to strip kings of their armor, to open doors before him so that gates will not be shut: I will go before you and will level the mountains; I will break down gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron."
Isn't it encouraging that God goes before us to level those mountains we face and breaks down those gates and doors and strongholds that can block our paths?
When God opens a door for us we do not have to fear whether anybody will close the door that God has opened.
In Revelation 3:7 it says, “What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.”
We should focus on the open doors.
We should look at the doors that are open, pray about it, then act. Again, it all comes down with spending time with God in that place of prayer, in that place that offers peace that passes our human understanding.
Pray about everything, don't worry and fret. It’s covered in prayer.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
Most of us are fearful of the unknown.
The unknown tests our faith.
The unknown is sometimes full of shadows and deep darkness. We can stumble and have a tough time following God, but God's Word reminds us to trust, to believe and to retain our hope.
Jeremiah 17:7 reminds us that the man who trusts in the Lord is blessed.
In Lamintations 3:25, we read the Lord is good to those who trust and seek Him.
The Lord knows we all go though - te tough and troubling times, but we should be assured that God is always with us.
I don't think there's anyone on this earth who can say with 100-percent assurance that they trust God perfectly in every area of life. But the fact remains that as a Christian, our faith should make a difference.
Faith is designed to be much more than just a belief system. There is much to learn about faith, but having a quiet, trusting heart is a good place to start.
In learning to keep a quiet heart, we must first begin by learning to trust God. He is there. Our Father is with us. We will not go through any dark tunnels, any deep valleys, any hot fires, without the presence of God.
God is there in the pain, in the trial, in the disaster with us.
God is not worried.
God is not upset.
God is not anxious.
God is the steady captain of our ship of life, steering it with wisdom and confidence.
No matter what storm that we are experiencing right now, God is saying, 'Trust Me. My presence will go with you and I will give you rest'.
God promises us comfort, peace, his presence and his strength.
Isaiah 43:2 provides some encouraging words. It reads: "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, the flames will not set you ablaze."
To continue on life's path which is sometimes littered with potholes and deep ruts, we must believe, trust, hope and continue the walk he has laid before us.
Rest assured that God is there no matter what.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
Faith is one of those things that one can never read enough about, hear enough about, or pray enough about.
Faith is difficult to even believe without an open heart to receive this basic Christian teaching.
Hebrews 11:1-3 (NLT) says: “Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see. Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation. By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.”
‭‭ This is the standard spiritual definition of faith. In a nutshell, what it is saying is, if we see it by our carnal eyes, it is not faith.
Trust and belief that if God says it, it's true comes into play every day of our Christian walk.
Faith is not immediately born when we come to Christ. There's not a faith switch that is instantly turned on when we say, we believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and rose on the third day so we might have eternal life.
Building faith takes time and prayer.
Roman 10:17 (NKJV) tells us, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”
We get faith by studying The Word until something in us knows that we know”, and that we do not just think that we know.
The late Rev. Smith Wigglesworth had a great view of faith. He wrote, “Fear looks; faith jumps. Faith never fails to obtain its object. If I leave you as I found you, I am not God’s channel. I am not here to entertain you, but to get you to the place where you can laugh at the impossible.”
We have to remember that faith talks in the language of God while doubt talks in the language of man.
Not knowing what God's Word says breeds doubt and doubt kills our faith.
Faith makes one soft and comfortable pillow of rest at night. There is no place for fear, anxiety, hopelessness or doubt.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
God works in many ways.
Divine guidance operates through many channels.
God guides according to the need. Sometimes we need more guidance than at other times.
God leads with his hand as it says in Isaiah 41:13.
God guides us with his voice – a small, still voice of the Holy Spirit.
God speaks into the conscience, causing us to have an inner conviction of duty that is as unmistakable as though an angel from heaven stood before us and gave us a message from God.
God often speaks to our reason, bringing to our attention things for our consideration, illuminating our understanding, bringing texts of scripture and various other things to our remembrance.
God leads us in giving us directions – kind of like a spiritual GPS. There is guidance in the general teaching of principles, precepts and examples.
God guides by creating favorable conditions, or by permitting things to happen that reveal opportunities for us. Sometimes God places barriers in our way in order to turn us from the path we would have chosen, into the path of his choosing. God does open and close doors.
Sometimes we must go into the wilderness of uncertainty, and sometimes to the desert, where our lives seem barren.
We have the assurance of God’s guidance.
He says in Isaiah 42:16 (Good News Translation), “I will lead my blind people by roads they have never traveled. I will turn their darkness into light and make rough country smooth before them. These are my promises, and I will keep them without fail.”
Trust God to do what he says he will do and our guidance will on the right path.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
How often do we find ourselves disappointed?
We have such high hopes and good intentions, but we find ourselves weary and burned out with self defeat, the burdens of everyday living, or the consequences of bad choices and sinful actions.
We can be left feeling exhausted, not only physically, but spiritually.
If only we could start over.
Isn't that where renewal and personal revival begins?
True revival is not man-centered, but always Christ-centered.
Revival is about a fresh revelation of Christ among His people, who often have grown sleepy or slow-moving and desperately in need of a fresh awakening touch from God.
Sometimes God even has to slap us in the face or across our backside to get our attention.
When this happens we find a place where we dies to ourselves and our soul can be refreshed and our lives revived.
God promises us His abundance. He has given us the Spirit "of power, and of love, and of a sound mind".
We have been "set free from the law of sin and death" and, "we are more are more than conquerors through him that loved us”.
Let us realize that we are never beyond the reach of God if our heart is ready to change and accept this renewal that only the Holy Spirit can bring.
Let us cry out in the words of Psalm 51:10, (Amplified) “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.”
The experience of revival is nothing more than a new beginning of obedience to God, repentance and a fresh start.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
This morning, I receive encouragement from the words written in the Book of Psalms.
Psalm 42:11 (NLT) reads: "But O my soul, don't be discouraged. Don't be upset. Expect God to act. For I know that I shall again have plenty of reason to praise him for all that he will do. He is my help. He is my God."
We must remember that God is always in control. Scripture teaches us that God continually protects us.
Here is what is written in the Psalms 121:1-8 (NLT), “I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The Lord himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The Lord keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”
‭‭The Bible says God is our protector. He delivers us out of our dangers.
Psalm 91 reads: "Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For He will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease. He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor the arrow that flies in the day. Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday. Though a thousand fall at your side, though ten thousand are dying around you, these evils will not touch you."
These encouraging scriptures should make every believing Christian shout with joy. We should be able to greet each day with a confident smile knowing our protection comes from God, as promised.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
The world around us is in trouble, if all you have to see or believe in are the current circumstances.
I will agree this nation is struggling with an incompetent President, who is power hungry and sinking our nation deeper in debt with hand-out programs, who supports a program of mass distribution of experimental vaccines that has not been approved by the FDA, who is killing our once booming economy.
We have Vice President, who embraces social government ideals, supports legislation to kill babies in the womb and lacks any Christian values in the legislation she has supported.
Both were elected on the most corrupt and fraudulent election in the history of this nation.
The administration would be happy for each of us to be like sheep and blindly follow them and get faxed and still wear those dreadful, ineffective facial masks.
The government tried to shut down our churches. A few faith-filled churches defied the unenforceable government mandated snd kept their doors open. Those are the churches that are now growing in numbers and finances.
I say as Christians, we have continue to stand up
In Romans 12:12 (NLT), Paul offers exhortations about dealing with our attitude in difficult circumstances.
It is written, “Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying.”
I like the Good News Bible's version of Romans 12:12 which says, “Let your hope keep you joyful, be patient in your troubles, and pray at all times.”
Rejoice in hope. It seems like enough of a request to patiently endure tribulation, but we're supposed to be rejoicing all through the whole thing.
This mandate doesn't apply exclusively to when we're facing tribulation, but rather in our day by day attitude, no matter the circumstances.
Many of us know on some days it's easy to rejoice; the sun is shining, people are nice to us, and things are going our way.
However, those days don't last forever, and at some point life won't be such a cooperative bed of roses.
How can we rejoice when life begins to seem like an endless trail of misery and broken promises and pain?
We were saved by hope. Since we have accepted God's matchless gift, we now are in an unbreakable relationship with Him. That's not a hope that can be broken by persecution, broken relationships, shattered dreams, or anything else Satan can throw at us.
We are also directed to be patient in tribulation.
Most of us have no clue about the tribulation that the Apostle Paul experienced. Paul tells us in II Timothy 3:12, “Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.”
God asks us to handle tribulation with patience. We can patiently endure, knowing that no tragedy of any scale can budge the Lord's plan.
Be blessed.

On this Memorial Day let us pause to remember with great graditude and appreciation our fallen military heroes.
Let us remember the brave and faithful servants to God and this country who gave their lives so we might be free and preserve our freedoms.
In John 15:13 (NLT), we read scripture that sums up the love that our nation’s war heroes have offered to each of us. It reads: “There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.”
1 Thessalonians 1:3 (NLT) can add to that by offering thanks to these warriors, who either volunteered or were drafted into service for the country.
The scripture reads, “We always thank God for all of you and pray for you constantly. As we pray to our God and Father about you, we think of your faithful work, your loving deeds, and the enduring hope you have because of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Thank you is never enough, but on this day let us bow our heads and remember those brave military veterans, those who died in service to the United States of America, as well as those veterans, who died after they returned home from military service.
They are all heroes. Let us never forget them.
Be blessed.

If there is any hope for our nation and the other countries around the globe, it will be found in families turning back to God.
However, it does not end there.
I hear many Christians say America needs to return to God. I hear many Christians lament that America no longer gives God His rightful place in our government or in our schools. But what are we doing about it?
I am concerned for Christian families today because I see a disconnect between what we say and what we do. The evidence of what we really believe is revealed in what we do and don't do.
Do you recall those first tender moments after your new born child arrived?
Do you remember holding the small vulnerable frame for the baby against your proud chest?
Do you remember caressing the soft skin and breathing in the fresh scent of baby powder?
Fast-forward a few years. The baby powder smell is gone.
Growing up means doing something, taking responsibility and acting.
We act through prayer, by our voice and through the ballot box. It is our responsibility to know the candidates we elect to make our laws and enforce our laws at every governmental level - this includes on our local school boards and even our church boards.
Who we elect does matter and it is our job to ensure that responsible individuals are placed in positions of leadership.
Look at Proverbs 16:7 NLT. It reads: “When people’s lives please the Lord, even their enemies are at peace with them.”
‭‭Those are the leaders we need.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
Nobody respects a coward. We admire people who are courageous.
Some of us can remember when we were still a kid in school and someone would dare us to do something dangerous. Some of us probably did some of the stupidest, most dangerous life-threatening things we've ever done. Why? So that we wouldn’t be labeled with that dreaded word 'chicken'.
We wanted to come off in the eyes of our peers as courageous, not as a coward.
In our Christian walk, every one of us faces choices every day in which we come out either courageous or a coward. It takes a great deal of courage to face the daily challenges of life without becoming considered weak.
It takes enormous courage to be a Christian when most unbelieving people automatically despise you when you openly reveal that you are a person of faith in Jesus Christ.
The mainstream media in America hates Christians with a passion because of a divide in moral standards and they punish them, belittle them, and try to discredit them at every opportunity.
Having Christian courage is key to our daily walk with The Lord. God promises to help us, guide us, protect us and be with us, but still, we fear and lack courage at times.
Many Christians are dying daily at the hands of terrorist and unbelievers throughout the world for their steadfast commitment and love of Christ.
The pain may we experience as a Christian may be mental as in confrontation and controversy.
Courage is indispensable for both spreading and preserving the truth of Christ. It's been that way for decades.
Matthew 24:9 (Amplified Bible), Jesus promised that spreading the gospel would meet with resistance.
It reads: “Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.”
Therefore, true evangelism and true teaching of The Word takes courage.
Do we tell only the truths that are safe to tell?
It doesn't matter what others say, about us as Christians. We can please God with our actions.
God knows our heart and he will get us through it all. Be courageous in what you think, say and do.
Be blessed.

Being joyful in the midst of our trials is difficult to understand. It ranks up there with "in everything give thanks".
The apostle Paul is a perfect example of someone who persevered in a storm of trouble. He literally had to face a life of hell – and that was after he was saved and working full time for the Lord.
We must not have allow our problems and circumstances to steal our joy.”
We simply have to develop the mindset that we will to learn how walk through the trials by wearing the whole armor of God, in the presence of God and with God's leading.
The Bible tells us that God’s people can perish for having a lack of knowledge. Not having the right kind of knowledge to fully understand why bad things happen to good people, especially to Christians, can cause us to perish in our own personal relationship with the Lord, if we allow it.
What gets many Christians in trouble is not having a full understanding as to why these things have to happen to them in the first place.
Look what it says in James 1:2 (Amplified Bible):
“Consider it wholly joyful, my brethren, whenever you are enveloped in or encounter trials of any sort or fall into various temptations.”
If we are willing to take the storm clouds head-on like David did with Goliath and like Paul did in prison, we have no idea how many other people we may be able to save, touch, heal, and deliver.
We must keep the faith, keep our eyes on God and keep on praying, no matter what happens.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
My thoughts remain focused on the importance of faith in each of our daily lives.
Read Hebrews 11 over and over again and you'll understand how important our faith it. Scripture tells us that it is impossible to please God without faith. That should tell us how important our faith must be.
Many of us hear about faith, read about faith, but stop right there when we are called to walk in faith.
We should never allow our own thinking to persuade us to think that just because we think that something is too hard for us to accomplish that it is also too hard for God.
That's where faith comes in.
Faith can move our mountains, if we can just wait on the Lord for his perfect timing.
Faith gives us the boost when the mountains around us are crumbling.
Faith can't be seen, but it is there every minute of every day, if we believe.
Faith moves those rocks blocking our pathway to success and victory in our lives. This includes healing and miracles.
If we believe that Jesus died on the cross for each of us, then we must believe that he bore our illnesses and ailments with every drop of blood he shed. We must believe his healing power is alive and working today- more than 2,000 years after Jesus’ death at Calvary.
I don’t care if my bones ache, my back hurts and is ravaged after surgery; my knees pound some days with pain and I walk with a cane, I am healed. I am protected from the China virus by my faith. I am not going to be a prisoner of the government propaganda about masking up and vaccinations. I am protected because the Word of God says I am. Dr. Jesus is my physician and nothing else needs to be said.
Faith is bold, strong and mighty all packaged in one.
The Church needs to step out and step up and teach more about faith and stop letting fear quench its faith.
We must do our part to ignite the fire of revival in our churches and get our eyes, hearts and spirits focused on Jesus faith. If we don’t, the powers that want to see us fail will overcome us. God wants his faith-filled church (people) to rise up, never waver and shine in good health and victory. Let walk it now.
Be blessed.

The Bible talks about protection and gives us peace in the midst of all kinds of life storms, or circumstances where we need the assurance that God is with us.
Look at Psalm 91:1 (The Amplified Bible ) and it says, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].”
When we trust in Him, “He will cover [us] with His pinions, and under His wings shall [we] trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. [We] shall not be afraid…” as it says in Psalm 91:4-5.
As believers, we can be safe and stay calm when storms strike. When we’re hidden in the secret place, the power of God encircles us.
Can any of us change the weather by our fear and anxiety? God governs the skies, the winds and the storms. He's in control.
Psalm 5:11-12 says: “But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them…. For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor)”
So rest assured we are favored when we walk with God. He surrounds us, encircles us and causes good to come to us. In the day of trouble God will hide us in His shelter.
In the day of trouble, we can be safe and protected, hidden away in the His secret place.
On this day, when we are flying a couple thousand miles westward to visit with family that is comforting.
Be blessed.

Greetings:
The importance of hearing from God is simple. We either hear the voice of God, or our lives are merely guessing games.
If we can't hear the Lord, how can He be Lord of our lives? And, if He's not Lord in the practical details of our everyday lives, then our lives are not on the rock foundation of Jesus, but on the sinking sands of self.
There's much teaching about hearing from God, but how do we really do that?
There are some basic principles about hearing from God, but they all start with each one of us doing our part to just listen when we pray.
Do you believe that God actually can and will talk to us outside the walls of our churches?
It is actually simple. If we just press in to God, get to know Him in The Word, become intimate with Him in worship.
It's got to be “more of Jesus; less of me".
Knowing the Bible helps us hear God.
Look at Roman 10:17, it says in the New Living Translation: “So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.”
In John 10:27, Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
The Lord communicates through prayer, especially listening prayer. We can learn to distinguish the voice of God by setting aside a daily quiet time when we don't do all the talking, but let God talk to us.
We hear God when we are committed to Him and His Word. Jesus said in John 18:37, "Anyone committed to the truth hears My voice".
We hear God when we become quiet both outside and inside. We live in the noisiest world in history. We must turn down the world's volume and turn off the TV, iPods, the radio, our tablets our cellphones and our computer. We must learn to be quiet and listen.
The key is finding the right time in our busy schedule to call God's time.
We hear God when we simplify our lives.
There is truth and much to be learned from the words written in Psalm 46:10, “He says, Be still, and know that I am God”.
Try it today.
Be blessed. I

This might come to shock to some of us, we are not perfect.
I am not perfect - not even close. You aren’t either.
The phrase, “we are human” rings true.
No one who has ever walked on this earth is perfect , except one - Jesus Christ.
There is only a perfect Savior of imperfect people - Jesus Christ. None of us are perfect and have it perfectly together all of the time.
We all make mistakes. We all say the wrong things at the wrong times. We all lack the perfection of God, his Son and the Holy Spirit.
Through justification and sanctification, we know that we are completely forgiven. Our salvation gives you us freedom to grow spiritually. Our effort in growth is not to earn our forgiveness, but to become more like Jesus.
Jesus paid the price for our complete spiritual cleansing when he died on the cross.
He made us perfect in God’s eyes. Also if we are following Jesus then we are continually being conformed to the image of Jesus.
Hebrews 10:14 speaks to this very clearly. It says. “ For by that one offering he forever made perfect those who are being made holy”
Let us learn to be more tolerant and focus on that which is good, rather than the imperfections in others.
There will be people who cause you to be inspired to follow after Christ with more passion
There will be people that stir our frustrations into immobility. Instead of walking to Christ more each day, we are caused to do nothing, but complain and search for something better.
There will be church services that delight you and those that disappoint, if we take our eyes off Christ and forget about the reason that we gather together in the first place.
Love is always the answer. Grace is always the answer. Truth is always
the answer. Forgiveness is always the answer. Mercy is always the
answer. None of these can be separated.
So be at peace and content where God has placed you. Learn to bloom where you are planted, instead of withering away and becoming bitter.
Learn to overlook those we perceive to have imperfections and shortcomings and love them anyway.
Here's another truth nugget, they
are probably thinking the same things about you.
Be blessed.
