totomaru is indonesian/japanese bc i said so 馃憖馃お
i never liked brandish鈥檚 hair cross thingys so i got rid of them and i changed her tail so it was different from her hair
i think lucy looks better in blue than in pink, but given the background i changed her tail to be a bit more of a spacey theme

The fairy tail redraw event is open to all artists (whether you are traditional or digital) and editors!
The rules are simple:
Pick a prompt to redraw or edit (or 2, or all of em if you feel like it!)
You're free to interpret and change the drawing however you see fit! Wanna change some colours? Wanna tweak things here and there? Go ahead! Nothing's off the table! The prompts are here to inspire you!
When you're done, @ this blog in your post and use the tag #fairytailredraw for it to be reblogged here and that's it! All there is to it!
Also an important note: though the redraw prompts change every month there is no such thing as a late drawing! You could draw any prompt any time and it wouldn't matter.
So no pressure on being late!

Just a small note for this blog
Recently there have been a few moments where this blog has been tagged in posts that sadly, aren't redraws based on any of the monthly prompts and thus, can't be reblogged here :(
So just to clarify, fairytail-redraw does not reblog any redraw, only those that are based on prompts previously posted here.
If you have done a redraw but it is not based on any of this blog's prompts, try tagging @ft-reboost instead!

i drew this over and over in sketches so when it came to the final i didn't want to look at the original at all 馃槀 so yeah, some little differences here and there

I went for Jellal this time @fairytail-redraw, mainly because I thought it鈥檇 be really cool to tackle.
Don鈥檛 know how realistic the shading is (something I鈥檓 bad at), but I鈥檓 pretty proud of this drawing! Though, it鈥檚 been one hell of a month.
Either way, drawing this was an awesome distraction and as always鈥an鈥檛 wait for the next prompts! 馃挏

Have been desperately trying to scratch and claw my way out of my creative block so drew this for @fairytail-redraw month. It probably would have looked a little better if I鈥檇 inked it in but my chronic health problems are kicking my ass so. Didn鈥檛 change all that much about the prompt itself, I鈥檒l probably come back to this at a later date but I鈥檓 other wise proud of myself for it after weeks of not being able to draw or write anything.
