Kai’sa stared at him. He stared back at her. He swallowed thickly.
Her eyes followed the bob of his throat. He was acutely aware of her pupils tracking his adams apple as it moved. A bead of sweat trickled down the back of his neck.
Think of something to say, Ezreal! Anything!
“So…Does that come off?” Ezreal blurted before realizing just how stupid and inappropriate he sounded.
“What?”
In for penny, as they say.
He pointed at her. “Your whole…Suit thingy.” He didn’t know what else to call it. Void carcass flesh outfit?
“Of course it does.” She said, before adding “I can show you.”
Ezreal opened his mouth, then closed it silently, his teeth clicking together.
He nodded dumbly.
