Hey I saw the post on your blog of fanon not being accurate to characters, and was wondering if you like Bottom Joonghyuk? The fandom seems to only have Top Yoo Joonghyuk with Bottom Kim Dokja, it's hard to find people who like Bottom Joonghyuk. So I was wondering if you were one. What's your thought on Yoo Joonghyuk in fanon in general?
I've been on a long hiatus (I was preparing for my wedding) and now that I'm back (I got married! no more wedding planning and lots more free time), I thought why not answer this first?
Not gonna lie, I like any dynamic between Dokja and Joonghyuk. Who tops and who bottoms doesn't matter to me. Where dynamics get misconstrued in fanon is who takes the more dominant role and who takes the more submissive role. I can see the argument for it going either way, which is why I see them switching a lot.
As for fanon Joonghyuk in general.... It's not as bad as some fandoms I'll say that for sure. He does often fall victim to the "mean and rough and rude and uncaring alpha male blah blah blah" far too often though. I think I mentioned that in the post you referenced - that he was forceful and mean when he is anything but when he doesn't have to be. Fandoms also tend to lean the opposite way with making something funny everything about that character - like Dokja hating tomatoes, or Joonhyuk being obsessed with swords. I don' t mind that nearly as much especially when the person making the art, writing the fics, meta posts, etc knows that the character is more than that.
Joonghyuk is a very complex character and to reduce him to a raping "alpha bro" is....unfortunate to say the least

Also after the 999th round, Anna Croft stops sending her memories because she can't take it anymore
does anyone ever think about how anna croft is the biggest plot hole in orv. like she is 100% aware this is not the 3rd regression because she sends memories from her past self to her self in the next regression and um. she can count. so like if kdj ever told her "youll pay for betraying yjh in the last regression" she would be like what ??? are you talking about and inevitably ruin the grand reveal. does anyone ever think about that

Here’s the last chapter! I’m glad to have finally finished this after so long T^T
Asmo continues to be annoying and YJH finally gets through to KDJ
Enyoy! 5th and final chapter under the readmore
"Yoo Joonghyuk, wait!"
Kim Dokja didn't try resisting the harsh tug on his arm - he knew that if he tried while Yoo Joonghyuk was like that, he'd have a fight on his hands.
He glanced around, praying that this section of the building would stay secluded. "Seriously, what if someone sees?" They did have a reason for being here after all. If someone other than Asmodeus or Lilith saw, all their hard work would have been for nothing.
They turned a corner and were finally out of the pair's sight.
His companion went still.
"Yoo Joonghyuk..?"
All of a sudden, he was slammed against the wall, knocking the breath out of him though he noted that there was no actual harm done.
Yoo Joonhyuk, hands tight on Kim Dokja's arms, let his head fall to his shoulder.
"You drive me insane."
Kim Dokja was confused, to say the least. He was expecting to get socked for allowing himself to be played with while they were here on business. In his defense, Asmodeus already knew the truth!
"What did I do?"
Yoo Joonghyuk groaned. How could he fall for such a fool?
He lifted his head to look him straight in the eyes.
"Kim Dokja."
"Yes?"
He grabbed his hands.
"Let me kiss you."
Kim Dokja short-circuited. Surely he didn't hear him correctly? But Yoo Joonhyuk didn't wait for an answer, he just started moving.
Kim Dokja panicked.
He barely stopped their lips from touching by using all his agility to dodge at the last second. He couldn't free his hands, but he'd count the small victories. The other man was tenacious, however, and didn't give up until Kim Dokja squeezed his eyes shut and yelled, "Wait, wait wait wait!"
Yoo Joonghyuk sighed, but stopped his actions. He stared at Kim Dokja, prompting him to continue.
"What about Lee Seolhwa?"
His expression didn't change. "What about her?"
"She was your wife!"
"Because you weren't there."
Kim Dokja choked on air. Thankfully, the 4th Wall offset some of the mental shock, so he wasn't nearly as red in the face as he could've been.
Yoo Joonghyuk knew nothing of mercy and didn't allow the other to catch his bearings before continuing.
"I... I have never felt this way about anyone. What I felt for Lee Seolhwa is nothing compared to what I feel for you now."
"Hold on-"
"The very thought of you not by my side makes me panic in a way that causes me to want to tie you down so you can't leave me."
"Yoo Joonghyuk-!"
"The moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special, but I didn't know you'd become my most important person."
"Oh for the love!" Kim Dokja couldn't take any more of his trusty wall thinning. If it continued to shrink, he may spontaneously combust. So, in a rush to shut the other up, he squeezed his eyes shut and smashed their mouths together.
As far as first kisses go, this was literally a dream come true for Kim Dokja despite the clumsiness and accidental teeth-knocking. It did effectively do the job of shutting Yoo Joonghyuk up, but now he was busy fixing the awkward slotting of lips that could hardly be called a kiss and-
Oh. That's why people liked it.
It was soft and slow and sometime during it, Yoo Joonghyuk had brought Kim Dokja's hands to wrap around his neck while he lightly placed his own on the other's face, tilting his head this way and that. Kim Dokja tried his best to catch up, but Yoo Joonghyuk kissed like a professional.
Damn protagonist benefits.
Kim Dokja's inexperience didn't deter Yoo Joonghyuk at all, so he continued by biting down harder than necessary, causing Kim Dokja to yell, "Ow! Bastard-!" which allowed him to slide his tongue in. He felt him practically melt against him and inwardly did the same. He felt so so lucky to be able to finally hold his star still in his arms.
When they eventually parted and Kim Dokja finally opened his eyes, his breath hitched at the soft smile Yoo Joonghyuk was giving him. It was barely a quirk of his lips, but the gentleness in his eyes showed what the rest of his face didn't.
"-And that's why I love you."
The fourth wall had officially shut down. Well, there wasn't much that could defend against that KO anyway. Without the help from his mental block, he couldn't keep composed enough to blurt out, "But I love you!?"
And stars... he really did. Kim Dokja did everything he could to ignore his feelings, so he refused to name the emotions that swirled inside him whenever his protagonist, his companion would show what was obviously care for him. He didn't want to acknowledge the other's feelings behind his actions or his own for that matter. He had been hurt enough in his life to not allow others to get close, but he couldn't help it with Yoo Joonghyuk. He's been with him longer than any other after all, even if he just started out as a character in a story, he still saved his life. How could he not fall for the real deal?
He felt the hands that were wound around him immediately go slack - like he couldn't believe what he was hearing. Yoo Joonghyuk's expression would've been funny - all wide-eyed in disbelief - if he didn't know he looked exactly the same.
Yoo Joonghyuk immediately used lie detection which prompted a "Hey-!" from Kim Dokja. He would've said more, but the other was quicker and slammed their lips back together, teeth clanking almost painfully and mouths at a slightly odd angle.
Kim Dokja could barely breathe, but he couldn't find it in himself to care, too wrapped up in their happiness.
This kiss was much more chaste and they soon separated. Kim Dokja looked at Yoo Joonghyuk for a moment and just smiled, head too full of clouds to say anything smart for once.
Yoo Joonghyuk had to be the one to move them forward.
He frowned, not liking the idea of having to stop what they were doing."We still have a banquet to leave Kim Dokja."
That snapped him out of his daze. "You're right!" He moved his way out of Yoo Joonghyuk's hold. "Let's say our goodbyes before they shut down the portal!"
After taking a moment to compose themselves from the sheer amount of joy they felt, they took a deep breath and looked at each other, barely able to contain themselves.
But business was business, and they soon set off.
And if Yoo Joonghyuk, back in his emotionless bodyguard persona, seemed to walk close enough that their hands accidentally brushed up against each other... Well. He wasn't going to say anything.
Yoo Joonghyuk opened the door to the grand hall and Kim Dokja was pleasantly surprised to see that guests were already leaving. It was more or less pleasant on the outside. Of course, hardly any demon king saw each other as anything other than rivals at best. No one wanted to stick around longer than necessary.
They made their way over to Agares, who looked positively bored out of his mind. Kim Dokja informed him of his leave, and the number two demon king just waved him off, ready to be done with this whole thing.
They were caught by their chatty acquaintance, Asmodeus with his partner Lilith, at the door. He took one look at the pleased expression on Kim Dokja's face and grinned at Yoo Joonghyuk, slapping a hand on his shoulder, much to the other's disgust.
"You finally got through to him! Took you two long enough!" He turned to Kim Dokja. They were almost at the portal. "Though I wish you would've held out another few months. I owe that Han Sooyoung 10,000 coins now."
Kim Dokja's eyes widened. "What do you mean by that!?" Asmodeus just grinned and said, "Double that and I'll consider my favour paid for. Till next time Demon King of Salvation!"
Kim Dokja tried to grab him, but the slippery bastard was already through the portal. He sighed and looked over at his companion who had a downright terrifying look on his face. They stepped into the portal, and he heard one last thing from Yoo Joonghyuk before they warped.
"... I'll kill her."
Honestly, he was planning to help. She had a lot of explaining to do.
I Took A Sip From My Devil's Cup, Slowly, It's Taking Over Me
Kim Dokja asks for Yoo Joonghyuk to accompany him to a Demon King's ball as his "faithful servant" to rack up notoriety for their nebula and Yoo Joonghyuk is far too soft for him to say no.
Posting the first lil chapter here. I wanna wait to have more written before I post to ao3. This is set a little before the Great Saints and Demon War but just think of it as canon compliant cause even that placement is a bit iffy. Oh and here's the art that inspired this whole thing. It's by one of the official artists for the novel @/1L9l2Aa8UCL0IGJ aka gumnem

"Bemyplusonefortheballandactasmyservant"
"...What?"
Yoo Joonghyuk didn't know if he heard quite right.
He watched as Kim Dokja took a deep breath and said - slower this time but no less strained, "Be my plus one for the ball and act as my servant."
Yoo Joonghyuk's eye twitched.
"Please!" He hurriedly adds, throwing his hands up in a hopefully placating manner.
Yoo Joonghyuk sighed. "And why would I want to do that?" He sees Kim Dokja light up. No doubt the man had already thought up a dozen ways to convince him to go along with whatever scheme he cooked up this time.
"If it looks like the great Yoo Joonghyuk is my faithful servant, then it'll turn the heads of the demon kings! It's basically free status for our nebula." He finished with his trademark scheming smirk.
Yoo Joonghyuk was annoyed to find that he found it kind of endearing. He crossed his arms. "Fine."
"Now before you say no, just know that-" Kim Dokja stopped suddenly. He tilted his head. "What did you just say?"
He knows he's too soft for him. Nevertheless, "I said fine. I'll go along with your stupid plan."
Kim Dokja's smirk morphed into a genuine wide smile. His eyes seemed to sparkle in the same way they do whenever he gets a particularly rare item. Yoo Joonghyuk couldn't stop his heart from skipping a beat at the simultaneously smug and joyful look on the other's face. Which annoyed him.
So of course, his face naturally turned murderous.
Kim Dokja backed up from where he was about to pat the other on the shoulder and hurriedly turned away. He walked out of the other's room, but not before giving a final smile and a, "Thanks Yoo Joonghyuk!"
Yoo Joonghyuk had to grip his sword before he did something stupid like run after him and kiss him... He really was too soft.

The night of the Demon King Banquet, Kin Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk met outside of the specialized portal that would take them directly to their destination.
They both had their signature coats on but wore formal clothing underneath. Kim Dokja was clad in a black turtleneck underneath a white suit and white slacks. He completed his look with shiny (just bought from the dokkaebi store) dress shoes.
Yoo Joonghyuk was a perfect compliment to Dokja with his white button-down and black three-piece suit and tie. He had shoes similar to Dokja's but without the laces. He also wore black leather gloves to match his coat.
The company went to send them off and all of them raved about how good they looked. Even Lee Jihye admitted that Kim Dokja looked all right tonight. The kids gave their adoptive father a hug and the two were off.

The portal they went through must've been an expensive one if the lack of dizziness was any indication. They were placed in the garden leading up to the grand hall where the main event was. There were demon kings and their plus ones scattered about and mingling. Kim Dokja thought about taking the time to enjoy the rare flowers and maybe make some connections, but thought better of it. He didn't want Yoo Joonghyuk to have to do this any longer than he has to and harbor any ill will as a result.
While they made their way up the stairs leading to the building, Kim Dokja could feel many, many stares on them. There were those who looked on warily, and others with contempt and greed. Only a couple with anything close to respect. No one missed sizing up the newcomers. He just smiled. It was about time to start their strategy.
[Joonghyuk. Get the door.] He commanded with his true voice, loud enough to be heard by some of the participants below them in the garden.
Yoo Joonghyuk bowed sightly and did as he was told. Immediately, whispering from the guests got very loud and they entered without another word.
Step one, done.
They entered the foyer and were greeted by a "friendly" face.
"Demon King of Salvation! I didn't think this was your scene." The man said, sweet acid dripping from his words like usual.
"Asmodeus." Kim Dokja nodded to him, then shrugged. "I don't particularly like parties, but you know how these mandatory things are. Not even Agares would want to pay the probability for skipping a special scenario like this."
"True enough." Asmodeus then gestured to the perfectly still man sightly behind the other demon king. "Now... Care to explain this? Potion? Ability? Or..?"
Kim Dokja just smiled. "None of the above. I just asked him politely."
The other demon king caught on quickly to what he was planning. He laughed. Oh, this was going to be good. But first...
"What will I get in exchange for keeping your secrets Kim Dokja?"
The man in question tapped his chin. "Hmmm. I wonder?" His grin was as fake as always when he answered. "I guess you'll just have to find out later."
Asmodeus' eyes flitted between the two before a thought popped into his mind. Why wait for fun? He quickly slunk close to Kim Dokja's right side, the one that Yoo Joonghyuk wasn't near, and pulled the man close. He leaned in to whisper against his ear, "I can think of a way you can pay me back right now, Dokja." Lust was in his modifier for a reason and he knew how to get a rise out of someone. He grinned at the involuntary shiver from the other.
Kim Dokja's smile turned a little sour and he stepped back enough to loosen Asmodeus' grip and quickly said, "Trust me, there's something better I have planned so there's no need-" He was cut off by Asmodeus suddenly getting pulled away by his collar by none other than Yoo Joonghyuk. He practically growled at the demon king. "Hands. Off." He emphasized the last word by harshly pushing him away.
Kim Dokja would be a liar if he said he didn't find that tone much more shiver-inducing than what Asmodeus was trying to do earlier.
Instead of being perturbed, he just laughed. "Looks like your pet is protective, Demon King of Salvation."
Kim Dokja shrugged. "He's just doing his job today, nothing else. Now, if you'll excuse us." He beckoned Yoo Joonghyuk to walk with him and the two left for the banquet hall, the latter sending one last glare over his shoulder.
Asmodeus just sighed and thought to himself, "Poor guy. Getting with someone as dense as Kim Dokja would require much less subtlety." Of course... This also meant that he actually had something to look forward to at this banquet for once. He couldn't wait for all the drama that was sure to unfold.

Aaaaand here’s chapter 4. the 5th and final chapter will also be out as soon as I’m done editing it!!!
KDJ and YJH both get jealous in this one :)))
I hope yall enjoy! 4th chapter under the readmore
Yoo Joonghyuk was seething. He almost had Kim Dokja exactly where he wanted and he was stolen from him by that infuriating Asmodeus. To make things worse, he couldn't even go after them as he was also immediately taken by the demon king's plus one - a beautiful tall woman who looked as if she could rival his mentor in strength.
He couldn't bring himself to care.
He continued dancing with the woman to stay in the crowd and not make a scene so he didn't disrupt the plan. It took him using his Three Restraints skill to do so, but whatever worked was fine by him.
________________________________
Kim Dokja sighed and glared at the demon king in front of him as they started to dance. "Now why would you do that so suddenly?"
Asmodeus kept his normal, somewhat unsettling smile on his face and answered, "Why I just helped you out Demon King of Salvation! Do you not realize how many eyes were on you two just now? You were a moment away from sucking face in front of everyone."
"No, we were not!"
Asmodeus gave him an unimpressed look. "Sure you weren't."
The dance moves to this song were a bit more intensive, and with the crowd, Kim Dokja was having a hard time picking Yoo Joonghyuk out.
He wasn't as comfortable dancing with Asmodeus, and it wasn't like they needed to do more than one song anyway. He could just walk away and wait for Yoo Joonghyuk to meet him, but he needed to confirm for himself how the other was faring. Was he having as much fun with his new dance partner as he did with him?
Was it all the same to him?
Also, why did he care? Maybe for once he'd actually talk it out with Yoo Joonghyuk...
Asmodeus truly enjoyed dancing, he really did. But with a partner so obviously desiring someone else, it was far from ideal. He decided to have a little mercy and lead them toward where Yoo Joonghyuk and Lilith were.
If he couldn't enjoy the dance, he'd enjoy the drama instead.
Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk spotted each other at the exact same time. Yoo Joonghyuk looked murderous and Kim Dokja couldn't help but wince.
That's when he noticed his partner. She was gorgeous. He felt uneasy, but before he could say anything, they were once again swept up by the crowd.
He jumped as he heard Asmodeus' voice directly beside his ear. "That, dear Dokja, is what we call jealousy." He smiled over Kim Dokja's shoulder at a seething Yoo Joonghyuk, who came back into view just as he whispered in his ear.
Kim Dokja was a little slow on the uptake for sure, but even he listened to what he was saying. Just a little.
But is what he felt for his companion something that would make him feel jealous? Unfortunately for him, he didn't have much time to think as he was too busy keeping up with the fast-paced dance. It felt more labor-intensive than the last one and it was honestly more like a chore than anything at that point, but at least Asmodeus looked like he was having fun.
When the song ended, Kim Dokja quickly made a beeline to the hallway furthest from anyone else, wanting some room to breathe and process his newfound feelings (???). Of course, Asmodeus followed him - no doubt to try and mess with his head more.
Even worse is that Yoo Joonghyuk and that woman he was dancing with were right behind him. He stopped right next to Asmodeus, glaring at the man, and he expected the woman to do the same, but she slipped past them and into his personal space.
She smiled in a way that reminded him of her partner and he was immediately suspicious.
"Asmodeus! Why didn't you tell me you've been hiding such a pretty gem!"
He blinked. "What."
Yoo Joonghyuk was aware of the effect Kim Dokja's ability had on his face when it came to strangers, so he was also baffled. "What?"
They ignored him. Asmodeus continued, "Gentlemen, this is one of my subjects, Lilith. She has a special ability that lets her see through any and all masks." He shot Yoo Joonghyuk a knowing look.
"Yes, though it only works in person. I've seen you on the screen before, but you were always obscured." She tilted his chin up with her nail. "I can see why. If everyone saw you, you'd have more attention on you than you would know what to do with."
Kim Dokja stammered, wracking his brain for information on what was clearly a high-ranking subject of Asmodeus. He barely caught that she was clearly flirting with him.
He couldn't remember right away, so he settled on safe neutrality. "Thank you, but flattery won't work on me."
"Oh, but it's not simple flattery!" She cupped his face with one of her hands to pull him a little closer and get a better look at him. He thought her long nails felt a little too much like claws.
Asmodeus was having the time of his life watching Yoo Joonghyuk's pitiful attempt to hold himself back. It must be rough to see the love of your life get hit on in front of you. It was hilarious.
She hummed approvingly. "You are a gorgeous creature indeed. Why, if we were back in our domain, I would have already brought you to my chambers and-"
"That's enough!"
Yoo Joonghyuk held Lilith's wrist in a harsh grip, pulling her away from Kim Dokja with enough force to break the bones of a lesser being.
She didn't even flinch. "Now sweetheart, I don't mind sharing."
Yoo Joonghyuk looked like he was about to bite her head off, but he just said, "Let's go Kim Dokja," and dragged him away further down the hallway by his wrist, ignoring a cackling Asmodeus behind them.

The long awaited chapter 3 is here!!! I have no excuse to be a year late I just hope you all like it
This is the dance scene that everyone was excited about. I listened to ballroom dance music the entire time lol
This is also my announcement to say that I will go back to posting my beloved YJH daily again
Enjoy! 3rd chapter under the readmore
Kim Dokja knew it would have to happen sooner or later at an event like this, but he still didn't feel ready for it. For some reason, the thought of dancing with Yoo Joonghyuk while being pressed close together with their faces inches away from each other made him light-headed. But the first dance was always with the partner they came with, and if he didn't want to shatter their facade, he would have to suck it up.
Everyone got up from their seats, and Kim Dokja gingerly took his coat from Yoo Joonghyuk and placed it on the back of his chair. He wasn't one to show his nervousness, so he reached out his hand and asked with a smile, "Would you do me the honor of this dance?"
Yoo Joonghyuk closed his eyes, thoughts and feelings racing through his head a mile a minute. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, and with an almost contemplative look, he took Kim Dokja's hand and lead him to the center of the dance floor, ignoring the fool's protests about being the one leading. No one would care about that little detail anyway.
He regarded the scenery around him; the couples laughing and scheming, the expensive decorations, and the impossible-to-book band, and he felt anger. Here they were, enjoying luxuries that most in the entire Star Stream could only dream of while there were millions - billions - of people suffering. He needed to calm down, so he looked away from the gaudy party to his companion.
His breath hitched.
When he met Kim Dokja's eyes, he immediately thought that the sight could only be described as a shining star, one so beautiful he could blind you with just one look. Yet here that star was, shining as bright as ever while giving him a genuine smile only reserved for those closest to him. It made Yoo Joonghyuk want to lock him up so that he could be greedy and have this all to himself - and he would if he thought he could keep him from escaping.
A part of him wanted to try anyway just to see how he would react, but he still had a job to do so instead of voicing his feelings, he placed a hand on Kim Dokja's waist and grasped the opposite hand. That infuriatingly fond smile was still on the demon king's face and Yoo Joonghyuk would like nothing more than to punch (kiss) it off.
The music started and they moved together like they had been practicing for weeks. Yoo Joonghyuk was almost impressed that "office worker" Kim Dokja would be so adept at waltzing.
"I didn't know you could dance."
"I can't. I just bought a skill before this."
He sighed. "Of course."
"Didn't you have to?"
"No."
He mumbled, "Stupid protagonists halo..."
Yoo Joonghyuk stepped on his foot.
"Hey!" He looked up, about to scold the other, but promptly stopped at the almost imperceivable smile he was met with. It's not fair for something so little to up someone's attractiveness so much. And because Kim Dokja couldn't force himself to say something witty, he stepped on Yoo Joonghyuk's foot instead.
The glare was back and Kim Dokja couldn't help but laugh.
Yoo Joonghyuk was smitten. Stars above, he was beautiful.
As the violins swelled and they twirled around the dance floor, more and more people were taking notice of how well the two fit together. Of course, the attention was on them from the beginning thanks to Kim Dokja's status and Yoo Joonghyuk's apparent servitude, but no one could deny how well they meshed together.
Words were barely exchanged as they moved together, basking in the comfort that the other brought them. Neither of them had ever danced like this before - much at all really. It was fun to flit around each other, coming apart for only a second before their hands met again, fingers slotting together naturally like they had done this a hundred times before.
Another part - where they step away, a few feet this time, yet their eyes never left each other once. Kim Dokja never thought himself the most touchy-feely person, but he couldn't deny the electricity he felt when they came together again and Yoo Joonghyuk secured his arm back around his waist. Maybe it was a little tighter this time, but he just chalked it up to the pace of the dance.
For the first time since they got there, Kim Dokja didn't feel tense in the least bit. Something about Yoo Joonghyuk being with him always made him feel more confident and seeing him distracted from the anger that he was feeling earlier was nice. It wasn't often that such an uppity protagonist allowed himself a chance to relax during a mission.
It also helped that he was incredibly handsome. Kim Dokja was always weak to good-looking faces and it was an undeniable fact that Yoo Joonghyuk possessed the best one. The way his wavy hair framed his face, his infuriatingly chiseled eyebrows that sat atop strikingly intense eyes, and his mouth that he found himself staring at sometimes all came together to create what is possibly the most attractive face in existence.
Kim Dokja blinked, realizing he was staring. They were at a slow part of the song now, doing little more than swaying, nearly pressed up against each other. He noticed Yoo Joonghyuk's expression was softer than usual. The permanent scowl turned to something he couldn't name.
The piano faded lightly and Kim Dokja found himself in a trance. It was like something pulled them closer to each other. He felt himself leaning in - saw Yoo Joonghyuk do the same. He could make out every individual eyelash, the reflection in his eyes showing nothing else but him.
It was invigorating. Thrilling. The fourth wall seemed to be blocking the majority of his thoughts, but Kim Dokja was acting mostly on instinct at this point anyway,
They were mere inches apart when Kim Dokja was suddenly ripped away from Yoo Joonghyuk. At once the spell was broken and he hardly had a second to glance at his partner's furious expression before he was whisked away to dance to the next song.
With none other than Asmodeus.
Tumblr media

He couldn't wait for all the drama that was sure to unfold.

small rant about something I saw earlier today about KDJ and YJH's mischaracterization
I saw a post earlier about who is the most different in fanon from canon out of YJH and KDJ. i thought to myself that it largely isn't that bad separately, but TOGETHER???? It's absolutely horrendous. People'll make KDJ into some soft, subby sex toy and YJH into an emotionless, crazy rapist. Of course those are extremes, but the majority of the time it is some combination of that when people create things for Joongdok.
I only mention this because I logged onto Twitter for the first time in awhile and the FIFTH post I saw was a thread that was basically a fic where beta KDJ who lives alone ends up finding FIVE alpha Joonghyuk's and well. You can imagine the rest.
That in itself isn't horrible I too think KDJ should have as much love as possible, but when it's done in a way that completely erases their characters, it rubs me the wrong way
