i think that in the panel where mo guan shan finally stepped inside the train, mo guan shan closing his eyes is a sign of extreme relief. not only because he was out of breath due to the chase, but also because he knew that if he tian was there, if he was with he tian, it all gonna be okay.

Hello there! It depends who will answer, I think fandom split into two fractions when comes to that. We don’t have any information about that in the comic and knowing it’s character maybe we will never know.

I was rereading all the tianshan chapters and suddenly a thought struck me. I know this has been established thousand times already, that He Tian’s way of using violence and force on Guan Shan is pretty unhealthy, but is also seen as his coping mechanism when dealing with relationships. That’s why I kinda feel like, whenever Mo showed some sort of “defiance” and frustration to the point of not being scared of his manners anymore, He Tian was the one got scared instead. He was secretly scared that one day, Mo would eventually be tired of his threats, and by then, He Tian could no longer use forceful methods to keep him by his side.
But may be. I’m just exaggerating everything haha...

once upon a time i started to make a list of all tianshan chapters to help me - and anyone else who needed it - to navigate them when i wanted to find something again quickly, then stuff happened, but now im back and i thought why not making an updated new and improved list? so here it is. i bolded the chapters where he tian and guan shan interact directly, while the others are ones where only one of them is present but that are still very important for their storyline, or they are both there but they make a very brief appearance. i also added a very short summary to help find what you need (they are not the best, but i tried). all the links should work, but let me know if i messed up any of them!!

Again just random thoughts and theory (I assume our fandom has already been discussing many after the latest chapter but still, this idea came across my mind and I kinda wanna voice it out).
I remember She Li used to show some interest in Jian Yi, which means there is a possibility (or not) that he is bisexual. And then we have Mo’s strong reaction to He Tian’s not-so-innocent-french kiss. I am aware that we would definitely get angry like Mo did if it had been us in that situation, however, I still think Mo’s reaction (punched He Tian and even cried a bucket) is somehow very intense (not that I disregard my baby’s feelings). Hence, I connect these two things with today’s revelation that She Li is the one who had Mo’s ear piercing done. I am wondering whether or not Mo’s reaction is indirectly caused by his relationship with She Li in the past?

[Random thoughts]
After today’s chapter, I have this huge urge of shipping QiuCheng, as in Qiu being top and Cheng being bottom - I do see them as a thing before, but it feels a bit different now. Like to me, such dynamic suddenly fits them so well. He Cheng, even though he always appears to be intimidating and scary and cool, deep down is actually a gentle soul (to me).
but hmmmm I feel blessed anyway since this chapter is just perfect ( ͡º ͜ʖ ͡º)

speaking of misogyny
let me tell you guys something that ACTUALLY happened in my screenwriting class last week
one of the female writers in our class is writing a feature about this gang of teenage girls who sort of become vigilantes and murder men who harass women (that’s a shitty logline of it but it’s actually fucking awesome and highly stylized and over-exaggerated like tarantino in a good way bc i fucking hate tarantino). ANYWAY their first kill is this guy named taylor. taylor is one of the girl’s boyfriends. it is heavily implied and the writer confirmed that he abuses and rapes her. not explicitly seen, but she has bruises, there are scenes implying it etc.
so. she wrote the part where they kill taylor. and one of my professor’s comments was about how he felt like he didn’t hate taylor enough.
to which me and my female friend were like um what?? we hate him. he fucking raped and abused her. wE HATE HIM. HE IS A HORRIBLE PERSON.
and my prof was like well yeah i hate him but i don’t HATE hate him. and we argued about it. so he took a poll of who hated taylor. ALL of the girls in the class raised their hands. none of the boys did. when he asked who didn’t hate taylor all of the men raised their hands. and me and my friend started laughing because of COURSE they did.
and my prof was like why are you laughing and the writer was like “i think they’re laughing at the gender difference in that answer” and my prof was like “well, from my male perspective, i don’t think i’m being sexist”
WHAT.
first of all did you hear that sentence at ALL do you understand how paradoxical it is?????
second of all, no. just no.
and then my prof went on to say “i feel like we need to see taylor be horrible. like bad solution, he kicks a dog”
evidently a man can abuse and rape a girl and not be hated, but if he kicks a dog then he’s PURE EVIL
and THAT is exactly what’s wrong with our society
