I realised that since most of you dont know me from insta, you haven't seen a lot of my madoka art ?!

→ INCLUDING my kyosaya animatic i made in november and posted to youtube in march ! (it had been posted to insta before i decided to post it on YT as well)

→ the arts a little outdated, but i still am really proud of it so if you want to go watch it the link is here ^_^

I thought that I could post not only drawings here so TODAY I FINALLY GOT THIS OFFICIAL KYOSAYA KEYCHAIN!! FOUND IT SO RANDOMLY (i really didn’t expect to find it lol) they r so cuute maybe i can show u other things on my kyosaya-shelf later :D

(drawings will be soon! i have an idea for a deep and dark comic about Sayaka so it will take some time)

I also think about Kyoko as a thief or some kind of robber and Sayaka will catch her (of course) AND Homura as a witch (in my head I imagined a witch stealing princess from her castle) mb I’ll draw some of this things later

what is your favourite sayakas character trait like her design music theme or schizoid head tilt™? :)

Oh, hello. I like that she’s weird in general. There are a lot of things to like about her, but the most interesting trait she has is that Sayaka is very magical. The constant camera shots to water around her, silhouettes of fish swimming in her wake, the way the weather worsens when she’s angry, how her nature isn’t purely an adjective (such as “tenacity” or “mercy”) but the perpetual act of falling in love - out of everyone in the cast, she always becomes a witch whenever she’s a magical girl, as though she’s just so alien compared to others that the natural conclusion of her distress would be her turning into a monster. Her self-destruction is so assured that even Homura knows it.

Sayaka’s turbulent behaviour is what throws people off. I like that the most too. Sometimes she’s happy, then she does all sorts of twirling poses and rubs her head bashfully. Then sometimes she’s mad, and suddenly the world is dark and cold and even her eyes change the way they look. She also has some of the best music tracks in the show, including She is A Witch. In terms of design, I like that she has a cape. Capes are for heroes, but villains can wear them too.

the fact that at the beginning of kyoko and sayaka 's relationship (if u wanna call it that) was ONE SIDED because of the fact that they used to be enemies and also sayaka still liked that guy (I FORGOT HIS NAME IM SORRY)

it was untill rebellion that you saw their relationship blossom :)

more explanation kinda (spoilers):

In the anime, kyoko is seen to still care about sayaka despite them being enemies, and is constantly shown to be worried about her well-being, to the point that she was willing to die to save her, and even told her about her wish and her past life to sayaka to help her about her wish even when she knew sayaka probably didnt care.

in madoka magica portable: homura's best ending, theres a scene where sayaka talks about how she wants to marry someone like mami, and then kyoko says "I get it, I'm a slob.." and sayaka laughs it off like "What are you upset for?" and that scene now forever lives in my head 😭

in the rebellion movie, you can see they are a lot closer now, seeing as how kyoko was now enrolled into their middle school, and they were constantly teasing eachother (i think its also implied they live with eachother)

and during the end when fighting homura's witch, kyoko becomes momentarily vulnerable with sayaka and sayaka's response was to hold her hand to comfort her.

also its heavily implied/canon that theyre considered soulmates later on in their development.
