Silverwater Stables Mane 02

This new mane is inspired by one of the base Horse Ranch manes. I just wanted it to have a little more texture and detail, and I'm pretty pleased with how it came out!

This offers a new mane in all of the default EA colours as well as 20 new colours I created from EA textures, including two darker blacks and a LARGE selection of ombres (the more the merrier... i hope).

Version 2 of my Running Braid mane! (the mesh has been made "wider/thicker" This is the Version 2 of my Running Braid Mane. What's changed? The mesh has now been made overall 'thicker/wider' and I removed the little section of "fly away" hair that was located near the withers. MycroftJr's height slider collab result affects horses. Someone should use my 'mod patch framework' mod and create a patch for the height sliders that adds a UI and functionality for horses, please. The template is already included in the mod as it comes with a UI interaction to adjust sim's height- just not for horses. It looks like the author is also open to submissions of improvements for the mod. :)

To use the height slider as it is right now, download the mod linked above (the height sliders) and you must get the horse's sim ID in game cheat console via sims.get_sim_id_by_name First Last

If they have a last name you MUST include it. If they don't, only use the first name.

After you get the ID, you can use a value between -100 (13 hand pony) and 100 (18 hand giant.) They are both shown in the video. The command to change their height in the cheat console during gameplay unpaused is: set_height # ID

I NEED to learn how to UV Map, ughhhh. I have tried to watch a few tutorials but so far I am just not fully "getting" it and it's super frustrating. I am finally able to create some things in Blender but do not know how to get it colored and not yet sure I know how to then get it into TS4.

So...uh...yeah. I am currently going thru a life crisis at the moment due to a work related serious accident my husband was involved in this past Monday and it has been very stressful (I will be making a more in-depth post about all of this later today....I am too drained atm to do so) and is going to take a huge financial toll on us until he is healed and can return to work (4 to 6 weeks, approx.) since only he works as I am fighting for SSI Disability. But as a way to help manage my overwhelming stress and to take my mind off of things I have been playing around in Blender more and trying to really learn things. I have created my VERY first object "from scratch" (as until this I had only ever edited EA meshes and such) and my hope is to make this into a Deco tack trunk to share with you all...eventually. I am also "dabbling" into trying to make some custom Stall fronts! Though actually getting to the point when I can share these with everyone will likely be a while as there are more things I have to learn to actually take these things from Blender and into TS4 (idk how to do that...yet...but also have not made any attempt to learn that yet lol)

Love these so much. Also, love that my saddle pad CC was used for these photos---always makes me so happy to see my CC being used and enjoyed <3 <3 <3

Please note that these poses were designed with a trick riding saddle in mind. Some of poses will not line up well with some saddles and may look a little funky. You will need to edit in your own reins/stirrups/straps as I am not competent enough yet to create my own accessories and tack for poses (I hope to be one day)!

If enough people are interested (maybe 10-15 people), I will update this to have a version that is more compatible with Walnut Hill's version of Objuct's surcingle/draft harness. Please comment that you'd like it to be done, otherwise, please enjoy! I will update this to also match any trick riding saddles that are released if someone links me to them!

Causal friday in a calico’s life!

This has taken me forever just to get this far...I am exhausted. ;-; But I think my new barn build is coming along nicely! :D So excited to do some more work on it...after I get some sleeeep.

Finished the first barn of the new save. This is just a small 3 stall Shedrow-style barn with a little feed/tack room area. Next I will be building the large center-isle main barn....at some point, lol. But i am pretty happy with how this turned out!
