Do you have any advice to escape art block? Im currently being held by its grasp and I need to escape-
artblock has many causes, sometimes it's frustration, sometimes you feel stuck with your skills, sometimes you can't found inspiration and even it can come from physical exhaustion
So i think the principal tip that i would give is give yourself a minute and check what you think it's happening, then after that one can find solutions
Now for this different scenarios
1. Skills: search what makes you unhappy with your skills , for example instead of saying "ugh my art sucks" think what you don't like, i don't like how i do hands, or i feel my poses stiff. The internet is full of tutorials but you have to find what skill you want to work on
2. Inspiration: this depends from person to person, in my case i like to watch shows or talk with friends about stories. Since a lot of my current obsessions are linked to my oc's i have the curse of no one else is going to do content about them so i have to move my ass.
3. Exhaustion: This one it's very difficult to work on personally cuz it's difficult to identify it. Making art it's not only exhausting physically but also mentally, your body and mind deserves to rest just like any other work. Give yourself a free day, your worth isn't linked to the amount of production you do.
