I REMEMBERED ANOTHER WEIRD FANDOM ENCOUNTER

For Wof enjoyers out there, and the ones who play the Wof Beta game!

I once was sitting and waiting for the rp to start! Me and a few others in the lineup where talking about favorite characters

And one of them mentioned they’d share their favorite character but most make fun of them for it

We said we wouldn’t and they could share theirs

…..their favorite character was Whirlpool

Whirlpool.

The green- icky, SeaWing..

We all just went deathly quiet and didn’t say a thing about it afterwords

What’s the strangest thing to happen to you while on the internet or within a fandom?

I’ll go first!

I’ve been called Islamaphobic at least twice for things that either didn’t involve me or was just- out of the blue?

First time was because I was drawing poc characters but someone was mad because I didn’t draw ones with head scarfs or hijabs

I told them that I didn’t because I felt like I didn’t know enough about them (the hijab and head scarfs) yet, to be respectful and not accidentally draw them in a disrespectful for misrepresenting way

Then said person got mad and said that was an excuse to just not draw them and- yeah they just went off on a tangent that ended in a block,,

Second time it happened was with someone I cannot name, because I’d much prefer not have to deal with them again and have another breakdown 😭

Anyway, anyone else experience weird or strange things like this? Or do I have bad luck and am just a magnet for the clinically online-

With my Colle design i gave him goggles, they where a gift given to Colle from goggles

So they could be Google buddies!

And before Colle went off and into the demon war, they traded goggles

As a way to carry one another through battle

More head canons because comfort time

1 • red Steve’s hair is very personal, depending on the Steve they will only ever let a select few touch or even cut their hair- (my twin and I can’t remember which one of us came up with this head canon? I think we just share custody of it at this point)

2 • Light Steve’s blood is golden, it’s not- actually gold? But it is the color and as shimmery as gold

3 • Blue and Inidgo Steve’s can have wings, they either hide them most of the time or just forget they have them. They can willingly summon and unsummon them at will

4 • not all Steve’s can summon fire, it really is only a thing found commonly among Reds, and a few orange Steve’s

5 • Red Steve’s are the smallest kingdom out of the chromatics, this is due to the ‘war’ that they fought and won in (yes I have a whollleeee story behind that since it was never brought up again in sl, I may talk about it or make an animatic for it)

6 • red Steve’s are more technically advanced then the other kingdoms-! Messing with redstone as much as they do they create things such as organic/robotic lifeforms that held them with individual jobs, machines- robots etc etc

7 • Because Goggles stuck his head through a portal to LITERAL HELL, he can see the spirits of Steve’s walking amongst the living…Colle is often hanging around goggles…so…it’s not so lonely in his lab…

8 • Goggles invented coffee. And within the same week was banned from having more than a CUP a day. His coffee intake is monitored

9 • Red Steve’s will often have candles about their homes, or graves. They believe that the flame of a candle means their family or friends are visiting! When the candles lit, they’re there. When it’s gone out? They’ve gone back to the world beyond. Destroying a candle could be seen as breaking their connections with that spirit :[

10 • Colle, even after being unbanished from the red kingdom…never truly returned to the kingdom. Sure he’d visit and such but- being betrayed the way he was by the king…? He didn’t feel as if it was safe there…he felt more at home in the desert kingdom..

I’m sharing more Steve headcanons because I can!

Just a few of my more minor headcanons-

*Ahem*

1 • Red Steve’s have accents! Due to them being isolated from the rest of the Steve kingdoms for so long

2 • some Blue Steve’s are born with the ability to see the spirits that walk along the overworlds surface, mostly the spirits of Steve’s who are visiting family or ones that cannot or refuse to go to the world beyond.

3 • Hybrids between different Steve’s are sometimes viewed as unnatural things of nature, and a danger due to their odd mixed abilities- or the new powers that may come from the combination of two Steve’s- (fear is a powerful thing when it comes to new things)

4 • Red Steve’s can sometimes be born with different types of fire- some will have blue fire (which is the extra hot kind of fire) some are born with your typical orange and red fire. On rare occasions there’s pink fire bearers

5 • this one spawns from TSS and that one RQ ep, Chromatics colors can fade! If they’re really sick or dying, it acts as a sort of timer. The more grey toned they get- the more sick or closer to death they are

6 • Light Steve’s Blood is golden! Instead of your typical red color, Lights blood now is a shimmery golden color!

7 • it isn’t uncommon to see poly relationships! :]

8 • Kings, when choosing an apprentice. Cannot pick an apprentice that is 18 or under, as it is a common belief that Steve’s should be aloud to grow and enjoy their childhoods! Letting them grow up without any pressure for the future!

9 • a legend commonly told amongst the Steve’s is one that says the moon and the sun are Origins eyes! Though Gen and Dream both know that the sun and the moon us to be run by two old friends

10 • The red Steve’s refuse don’t have all their history in place. In fact they’re missing a LARGEEE gap of their history…whenever asked about it, they only ever respond with ‘we lost it in the old kingdom.’ Before very quickly moving onto a different subject

11 • this one’s a little silly one, but I find it funny- All Steve’s have their own names! Saber just never asked for their names so they just rolled with whatever nicknames he gave them 😭

ALSOOOOO- got any for Maybe Aaron? The goofy frozen fish?

• Aaron definitely says jokes to cope up with stress. Sometimes he usually says jokes to light up the whole mood, it works but he mostly fails. (Like if the main trio are in a position that they know they messed up, Aaron would make a joke to lighten the mood then gets immediately glared at by Light and took that moment to stop)

• Aaron would definitely create ice bō-staff as his backup weapon if he doesn't have his sword or crossbow.

• Reasons that he joined the Elite crew was because of Proxima. I imagine that they both interacted the first time and Aaron literally admired him, then Proxima went "You're a good kid, you might be fit to be a part of the Elite crew, who knows?" And Aaron took that as a chance to sign in to the Elite crew. (Surprisingly he passed and Proxima is proud of him)

Again, OOC, my brain goes silly for these Steves

I HAVE WAITED FOR THIS MOMENT TO SHARE MY FAVOURITE RED STEVE HEADCANONS FOR DAYSSSSS /hj

• Colle usually is the artist among the Elite Trio, with him carrying his journal around and such. He sketches out various things he discovers while he explores, like the sweet berries he found in the forest in the first episode. I like to think that he sketches out the weapons he got and see, like the trident that the Ocean King gifted him.

•^ Along with this idea, I like to think that he would also sketch out the Steves or animals he met. Like while waiting for Forest Steve to get down from the tree, he sketched out the "red chicken" for fun and wrote down some notes about it. And after meeting the Forest Steve, he keeps looking out the window and sketches some of the Forest Steve's below near the center of the village. He keeps notes about what everyone can do so he can report it to Boss.
