hey so i was finally asked how i ‘knew’ i was trans and iv never been asked that before and i told the person that a large part of it is the eroticism i feel so strongly towards men. that like, my fascination with the masculine form and the way it moves, emotes, exudes … like … when i was younger i watched the way early gender envy subjects moved and carried themselves. i mean for me it was a bit different bcoz my gender identity differentiated from its beginnings as a girl due to fairly feminine men specifically faris badwan & joshua hayward of the horrors. so like what appealed to me was the intense sensation of seeing a man sit and spread his legs, like an invitation or tilted his chin up, the way his muscles moved under his clothes. this casual way that they command presence or take it away at will, just … my god. like that possessed me, i wanted to sit and move and speak like a man did. even the conditioned unemotional presentation appealed to me as someone who has such issues getting in touch w/ their own emotions it was like. i can come home and sit confidently on the bedside, legs slightly spread and shoulders back … like yeah. mapplethorpe also guided me through that, but it was through the eroticism and allure of the male body that attracted me - i wanted to be apart of it, not just observe it. like i wanted to practice the ritual of masculinity, it feels like a wonderful thing to sink your teeth into. i feel better about myself when i notice masculine habits and traits, i think ‘i want to share this with the masculine form.’ i wanna melt into another man. i’m dying. i went on a rant but do you know what i mean.
