dad julian hcs? :)
Sorry I haven't been answering requests as much lately, work has been hell. Even so, I wanted to answer this one because I think about dad!julian a lot.
I think that Julian isn't as hard of a dad as he pretends to be. I think he's a big softie. I think if he had the money, he would buy things for his child. I don't think he'd buy everything the kid wanted, because Julian is always in the business of saving money, but I think he'd spoil his child a bit - boy or girl.
I think, though, that Julian treats boys differently than girls. I think that's just in his nature. I think he'd be very overprotective of a girl, because he knows how terrible boys can be (he was one of those terrible boys) but I also think he'd be equally as stern with a boy. Either way, he doesn't want his kid going down the same path he did.
Julian stresses the importance of school all of the time. He wants his kids to go to college and even has a savings jar for them. I think that he'd actually kind of be a hard-ass and push his kid towards a more lucrative career, something like a doctor or lawyer. If his kid wanted to do something less lucrative, like art, it'd be a really big fight. I think Julian is the kind of person to be like "either you're going to go to a career that can make you money or you're going to make your own career." I think it'd cause a big fight between you and Julian honestly, but eventually you'd probably convince him to just support the kid no matter what they wanted to do. "If they're going to be an artist, at least let them be an artist without crazy debt." Despite how ardently against art he is, if he had a child that was an artist he'd keep every painting and show up to every art showing.
Julian is the kind of dad to show up to every event. He strikes me as the guy who just didn't have parents who were present in his life.
Julian would definitely give their kid a bit of daddy issues, I'm sorry. A man like that doesn't just change overnight. I think he's quick to punish and ground his kid, specifically for misbehaving in school. He just desperately wants his kids to be successful.
Julian is a very affectionate father, I feel. He likes to hug and kiss his kids and isn't afraid to express fatherly affection. Throughout the series, Julian has always openly held his partner's hand, hugged them, or kissed them in front of others. I think that dad!Julian would be disgusting affection with you to the point where his kids would be like 'ew, gross'.
It doesn't matter what school event there is, Julian is always there. He's literally at every single: holiday party, open house, meet the teacher, choir concert, art showing, sports event - you name it, he's there.
He's the kind of guy to like to take his kids on trips. I actually like the idea that Julian is finally able to take that cruise with everyone like he intended before he landed in jail. I think going on a cruise with his kids, partner, and chosen family is actually a really big deal for him. It's a big fucking mess and everyone traumatizes the cruise ship but it's fun.
Dad!Julian taking his family to Disney Land. I just imagine this big fucking muscly guy in fucking Mickey Mouse ears because his kids wanted him to wear it. Excellent.
On a more emotional note, I think the only way Julian would stop drinking would be if he became a dad. I think his kid would ask him about the glass he always carries around and that simple question would rock him so much he'd work on putting it down. It'd be a long time before he finally kicks it (alcoholism is a bitch), but he'd do it for his kids. (Edit: someone wonderful in the comments mentioned julian would carry around a cup of coke instead and I love it so much, I’m going to add that thought up here to read)
Christmastime is a fucking nightmare, but I think he'd go from hating Christmas (I feel like Julian has Christmas trauma) to enjoying to take his family to see all of the Christmas lights and shit. Everyone goes to Julian's for Christmas and he's kind of sick of it, but also secretly loves it.
He'd definitely chew out his kid for getting caught smoking pot and doing drugs. He won't tolerate it.
Dad!Julian crying when his kids move out of the hosue
Dad!Julian always loading his college-aged kids down with food to take back when they come to visit.
Dad!Julian letting his kids help Bubbles fix up shopping carts
Dad!Julian losing his shit on Ricky because he left his kids with Ricky for literally five minutes so he could take something to a neighbor across the street and he comes back to an absolute shit-fest in his kitchen
Dad!Julian grilling all of his kid's prospective boyfriends/girlfriends/partners regardless of gender
LGBT Dad Julian has the pride flag in his lawn for gay kids. He doesn't exactly understand the pride flag but it's important to his kids.
Dad!Julian rubbing his partner's feet after a long day of walking and working :(((((( so sweet :))))
Julian definitely gets in trouble with the law for threatening a teacher who was bullying his kid, fr.
LMAO DAD!JULIAN IN THE PARENT TEACHER ORGANIZATION. All of the parents think he's really hot and he finds it annoying because he just wants to spend time with his family, not be oggled over by parents and stuff.
Dad!Julian dressing up as Santa LMFAO
Are these okay? I have some more, but these were my favorite ones I thought of.

Odd request, but Ricky grieving a dead s/o if you can? Neutral terms preferred but whatever is fine.
I have been waiting for a Ricky request and this is such a good one, I have such a good idea. Gender neutral terms? I got you.  Pairing: Ricky Lafleur/Reader Tags: Reader death, alcoholism, drug abuse, angst, guns, cops Authors Note: I typed this up in a flurry. I'm sorry if it's not as in-depth, I made it in like two hours. I really liked this idea! I took a different approach, if that's okay. Word Count: 2,882 Summary: Ricky doesn't handle grief very well.
LATE MAY Ricky loved Lucy, he really did. Well, he loved her the best he could love her. It was hard for Ricky to not love the mother of his child. But Trinity was really the only thing they had in common. Ricky was nothing short of a deadbeat dad, waffling in and out of Trinity's life - though he was trying. What did it matter when he could always trust Julian to handle it? Julian always dropped by to see Trinity, he was basically her uncle, so what the fuck did it matter if he needed to slip off and get piss drunk? Life used to be more fun, but that was so long ago - way before Ricky ever really considered Lucy as an option. You were everything he wasn't - smart, driven, and destined for greatness. And, unlike others, you actually truly believed in him.  And God knew that Ricky loved Lucy in the best way that he could - but Lucy wasn't you. "Why don't you take Trin and I out to the park, Ricky?" Lucy inquires. "You know I hate this fucking season," Ricky waves Lucy off, lighting the cigarette between his lips. "I hate the fucking rain and the sunshine and the wet grass and butterflies and shit, it's fucking annoying."  "Yeah, that's what it is." Lucy responds shortly, "You know, why don't you ever talk -"  "There's nothing to fucking talk about Lucy. What do you want me to do? Tell the butterflies to fuck off and the sun to stop shining? News flash, I already did and fucking spring is still here." Before Lucy can express any concern over Ricky, the door to their home is slammed shut, bouncing a few times before it finally clicks closed.
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° 1989 ┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ °
"What are you doing out here during school hours?"  Ricky is leaned against the water fountain, a cigarette placed gently between his lips. "What the fuck does it look like I'm doing? I'm smoking a fucking cigarette. What's it to you?"  "You're not supposed to be skipping class. Or smoking a cigarette on school property."  "Well fuck me officer, sorry for breakin' the law. What are you anyway, the fucking hall monitor?"  "I am." You're scribbling writing down furiously onto the notepad issued to you by the high school. You stroke him a ticket, ripping it off the pad and handing it to him. Ricky takes it despite the fact he's unable to read. "Yeah well, you wanna know what I think about your fucking ticket officer?" He rips it into pieces, throwing it into the water fountain. He slams his elbow down onto the water fountain, spewing water all over the paper. It grows wet quickly before breaking apart, stopping up the drain. "Fuck you, that's what I think about it. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some fucking dope to sell. Or you gonna stroke me a ticket for that too?” ┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° You two didn't exactly get off on the right foot - but then again, nobody got off on the right foot with Ricky. He was a troubled kid who ran his mouth too much. He had expected that interaction to be the last between you two, but it wasn't. It seemed like everywhere you turned, Ricky was there - causing fucking problems. It only got worse when, in a last-ditch-effort to keep Ricky in school, your math teacher had begged you to tutor him. You had worked wonders with other kids like Ricky, so why not try? You didn't want to at first but with a bit of a convincing, and monetary payment, you had agreed to tutor Ricky. If Ricky remembered correctly, he skipped the first tutoring session. He thought that that would be the end of that, but the next day you had confronted him in front of all of his closest dope-fiend friends after school. "I can't believe you wasted my time like that."  "What the fuck are you going on about?"  "We were supposed to have a tutoring session."  "You seriously fucking thought I'd show up to that stupid shit? You've got to have shit for brains. I don't do schoolwork."  "I'm your last chance to pass math, if you don't show up to these tutoring sessions then Mr. Richards is going to fail you without a question."  "Do you think I give a fuck if he fails me? Tell him to fucking fail me, I don't give a fuck. I'm not even gonna finish my grade ten. I got a good dope-sellin' business, I'm makin' a lot of money. I don't need this shitty fucking place."  "Do you plan on doing anything with your life other than growing dope?"  "Nope."  "What's it going to take to get you there, Ricky?" You couldn't help it. You just loved a good challenge. "Nothing."  "Nothing at all?"  "You know what, if you took me out to that buffet off of second street for every tutoring session and paid, I'd show up to it."  "Done."  There's a silent pause. "Are you being fuckin' serious?"  "Yes."  "You'll pay for me?"  "If you come and actually work."  "I mean shit, why not. Free food is free food. When should I show up?"  "Tonight at six."
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° From the way Ricky ate, it was obvious that food was a scarcity at home. So much for making a good living off of dope. But it seemed like food was a good motivator. Ricky sucked dick at math, but at least he was trying - well, as hard as Ricky could try. Threatening to end your sessions seemed to be good enough to scare him into complying, and over time it really seemed that Ricky was actually improving in math. He was nowhere near passing, but the fact that Ricky could bring his grades up from a straight 0 to 40 was impressive - even to Mr. Richards. "Why do you do this anyway?" He asks one session, out of the blue. "Everyone deserves to have someone in their corner rooting for them. If food is what it takes to get you to get your grade ten, then I'll empty my pockets. You think you're stupid Ricky, but you're not. You just need someone around to give you an extra push."
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° "Fuck. Fuck. Fuck." He's hitting the palm of his hand against his forehead, eyes pinched close. The thoughts about you had died down years ago - why was it coming up just now? He takes the joint between his fingers and brings it to his lips, inhaling and then exhaling. "I need to get fucking drunk tonight."  "Maybe you should slow down on that smokin', Ricky. Why don't you come over and watch some cable? WWE's playin' tonight." Bubbles offers Ricky an alternative to drinking and smoking. It's usually around this time of the year, late May, when Ricky gets antsy.
He never brings you up and even claims to have forgotten about everything but his good friend Bubbles and Julian know better. Ricky usually gets more belligerent around late May. Julian guesses that it's a form of PTSD, and at one point he even tried to sit Ricky down as a friend and explain to him all of the symptoms of PTSD that jail counselor told him about, but Ricky never listens because "it's not that big of a fucking deal." So it's around this time Julian and Bubbles take a step back to give Ricky space and try to help him make it to June. But it's typically a hard task. "No offense Bubbles but that sounds like a terrible time I'd rather get piss drunk with Ray."  "Come on Ricky, you know how bad your dad gets when he's drunk. If you're gonna get drunk, at least do it in my trailer." Ever since he got out of jail, Juilan has been trying to avoid drunk get-togethers - but this is a different story. "I know exactly what you're doing Julian and I'm not fuckin' havin' it" Ricky shakes an accusatory finger at Julian, "I don't need your fuckin' pity."  "It's not pity, Ricky. You're telling me you don't wanna come over, get drunk, and eat chicken fingers?"  "Are you buying the chicken fingers?"  "Sure," Julian concedes, "I'll buy the chicken fingers."  "Then fuck yeah I'm comin' over."
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° It's around this time of year that no amount of liquor can get rid of the nightmares and the memories. Even piss-ass drunk leaning over Julian's toilet hurling, every second of your relationship with him flashes through his memory. Some of the memories are good. "Remember that time (name) and I got caught fuckin' around with Lahey's yard flamingos? That shit was so funny. He was so pissed." Julian rubs Ricky's back, listening to him blabber on about the memories in between dry heaving and vomiting. "Or the time (name) beat J-Roc in a hotdog eating contest? That shit was -" Ricky stops talking so he can hurl out the fifteen chicken fingers he ate against better judgement, "- that shit was so funny. Or that time we blew off homecoming and drove out to make-out point and . . ." Ricky pauses, half a smile cracking his lips, "You know, (name) -"  "Alright Ricky," When Ricky lifts his head up, it's obvious that his skin is soaked in tears. Julian doesn't comment on it, though. Ricky would only deny the fact that he's been crying. "I think I'm allergic to these fucking chicken fingers, they're making my fucking eyes water."  "Uh-huh" Julian is wiping down Ricky's face with warm water, cleaning up his mess before helping his friend stumble onto the couch. Some of the memories are bad, though. Memories of arguing flash through his head.
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ °
"You can't fucking drop out to sell dope! You've worked too hard for this!"  "You mean you've worked too hard for this, I know Mr. Richards is paying you to tutor me. I bet he's paying you to date me, too!"  "It's not like that, Ricky!" You plead, "Yes, he was paying me to tutor you! But he's not paying me to like you, Ricky. He's not paying me to love you."  Ricky seems taken aback by the comment. It's the first time you've told him you loved him. For a second, he thinks about apologizing, about kissing all over your face and promising you that he'd never talk about dropping out again. You had a future together, you were going to graduate together, grow old together, and die together holding hands. But Ricky always lets his anger get the best of him. "No, you know what (name)? Fuck you. Fuck off. You're just saying that so you can get more money from Mr. Richards."  "Ricky, I love you, I swear -" Ricky waves his hand dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Just fuck off already and get out of my hair. I don't want to see you again. In fact, I wouldn't want to see you if I was on my fucking deathbed breathing my last fucking breaths."
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° "They shouldn't have been there Julian, they weren't supposed to be there." Ricky rolls forward, his head placed in his hands. Every time Julian opens his mouth to speak, Ricky is speaking over him in frantic sobs. It's not typical to see Ricky like this, only in late May. "It was just a dope deal gone wrong, they shouldn't have been there, they shouldn't have been there. I didn't know they were going to be there. It was a mistake. It shouldn't have happened and it's all my fucking fault, it's all my fucking fault, it's all my fucking fault."
There’s not much Julian can say to soothe Ricky. He’s tried, but it’s never been enough. The only thing they can do is make it through the rest of the month.
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ °
You weren't supposed to be there. In fact, Ricky had thought the fuck off was enough to keep you away. But there you were, coming around his house in the middle of the night. You didn't think much of the other two people who were hanging around Ricky on Ray's porch. You just assumed it was Julian and Bubbles. You were here to beg for him back, to tell him how much you loved him and how much you wanted to spend the rest of your life with him. Young love, right? The guys on the porch weren't expecting visitors. There weren't supposed to be visitors. Ricky hadn't planned for visitors. Ricky had told them there wouldn't be anyone around. So as you walked up the steps, a commotion broke out. "You said there wasn't going to be anyone around! Is this a fucking sting? This is a fucking sting!"  "No officers! I swear, I didn't know someone was coming. No-one is supposed to come! Wait! Wait! Wait! Put the fucking gun down! That's just my friend! Fuck!"  Ricky can't get to them fast enough and a gunshot rings in the air. The moment the two cops realize it's a teen crumpled up on the ground and not an undercover agent, they're rushing to their car. "You shot (name)! You shot them! Get the fuck over here and help us!"  "Sorry kid, we gotta go! We can't be seen around this shit or we'll lose our jobs and go to jail. That's how these things go. word of the wise, you shouldn't have friends you actually like if you're gonna be in this business, kid."  Ricky is left alone to tear off his shirt, pushing it against the bullet hole right in your abdomen. Blood seeps through the shirt, soaking it. People are leaving their homes now, rushing to the scene of the crime in a panic. There's a large commotion, though Lahey breaks it up. "What the fuck did you get into, kid? What the fuck have you done?"  "I didn't do shit! If you're not gonna help Lahey then fuck off! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Don't you dare fucking die, if you die I'm going to have to bring you back and fucking kill you myself! Just hold on a bit longer."  But you were already gone.
┆ ° ♡ • ➵ ✩ ◛ ° "Those fucking cops. Those fucking cops. Those fucking cops." Ricky repeats like a mantra. Julian helps lay Ricky on his side, bringing a glass of water to set on the side of the coffee table.  Julian remembers how the death was swept under the rug, simply labeled as a "drug bust gone wrong" - if you could call two cops shooting a teenager thinking they were going to lose their career in a sting operation a drug bust gone wrong. They ended up taking matters into their own hands, but still. That wasn't enough. "It's all my fault, I should have said something, I should have done something, I should have told them I love them - God, fuck," Ricky presses his head into his hands, "They should have never met me. All that shit Lahey spews is right, I'm no good." It's the only time Ricky seems to express any sort of understanding of where he was in life and who he was. The only time he really seems to take full accountability. He still remembers the way your parents cussed him out and blamed him for what happened. It's the only time Julian saw Ricky sit there and take shit without blowing up. All he could do was sit and nod and agree with every awful thing they said to him. They were right - you were on the path to being a valedictorian. You had so much to give to the world. They told him that they prayed to God the next person he started seeing didn't end up an chalked outline, too. He didn't need to be terrorizing the general student body, dragging them into business that wasn't his own. He agreed, so he dropped out. It was the only way he felt he could truly reconcile what happened. A warm spring breeze passes through the open window, rustling the curtains and filling the room with the smell of wet grass. Julian doesn't say anything. He can't say anything. Nothing he's said ever really seems to soothe Ricky's seasonal grief. The counselor in jail had talked to Ricky about maybe distracting himself during this time, spending time with his family and trying to find the joy in spring, but he can never seem to get over the hurdle of actually dealing with the trauma. Ricky doesn't do handling grief. Instead, he liquors himself up in an attempt to forget. It doesn't help, though. All it does it land him crying and puking in Julian's bathroom, rattling off about how he should have done better, how he should have told you he loved you sooner, and how things might've been different.  The only thing they can do is just get through late May.

what do you have for cory/trevor :3
I saw that you added you wanted a male reader for Cory and Trevor. I want to give you the forewarning that while Cory and Trevor aren't my cup of tea, I'm happy to give you some general headcannons I have! If you have any specific prompts, feel free to send them in. I know what it's like to love characters that have like, 0 shit written for them, so here you go! (I'm sorry if this is lackluster, feel free to send more requests.)
I am so sorry but I just can't see Cory existing without Trevor. I think the two have to have a polyamorous relationship to function. I know that Cory/Sarah/Trevor were kind of played off as a joke but it just made sense. So being in a relationship with Cory means being in a relationship with Trevor and vice versa. It's just kind of one little polycule.
I actually think that Cory and Trevor are pansexual, given that they hooked up with two transgender women. I know that was supposed to be a joke but I think that's super transphobic and I'm choosing to actively believe they didn't give a fuck, they just thought those ladies were hot, because Cory and Trevor just give me pansexual vibes and I love it.
Cory and Trevor literally do nothing but play videogames, smoke, and go clubbing. I don't think they know what a fucking library is. That's why I love the idea of Cory and Trevor having a significant other who works in a fucking library.
I think they meet you because they were tagging along with Ricky while he was signing up for a library card, something small like that, and you were the librarian that helped them out. I think they both kind of have a thing for you so they get a library card even though they probably barely know how to fucking read
I just think it'd be really sweet if they just kept coming into the public library with random ass stupid ass fucking questions while Ricky was trying to study. Ricky would tell you "don't mind those two idiots, they're so fucking dumb they can't tell left from right, just ignore them." but honestly? you find it endearing. Maybe you just have a thing for golden retriever gamer boy idiots. Though you do wish they had a little more drive.
I like to believe that you read your favorite books to them. I don't know, I think there's something insanely intimate and endearing about one of them laying their head on your lap and the other on your shoulder while you read your favorite book to them. They probably ask a million questions but that doesn't bother you. To you, it shows you that they're engaged in what you're having to say.
They've definitely picked dandelions, like those yellow weed ones, to give to you because they don't have money for actual flowers but it's just as sweet as it is weird.
I think they're the people who introduce you to weed. You're not a big smoker, and probably won't ever be, but smoking with them is fun and honestly they provide a safe space. I also think that they're very affectionate stoners. There's something nice about having someone rub your back and stroke your hair while you're absolutely fucking blown. You can appreciate the touch more, since your senses are heightened.
I think they take care of you during bad highs, too. (God knows I've had some really shitty highs, smoking a bad strand is ass. It's probably a strand they picked off of a dealer they weren't so familiar with.) They'll take care of you, give you water, rub your back, shit like that.
Make no mistake, you pay for most of the date nights. That's just what it's like being with Cory and Trevor. They're not exactly driven and they don't exactly make shitloads of money.
I like to think that you push back against Ricky, Julian, and Bubbles when they give Cory and Trevor shit. I think for that reason Ricky doesn't really like you, because you stand up for Cory and Trevor. Also you don't sell their time like Sarah does?
I think when they both get really happy they kiss you on the cheek at the same time.
These guys are so free-spirited I mean they had such a great time at a gay bar, I don't think they'd have any problem holding your hand at the same time in public.
You definitely get a lot of shit because it's 1999 and the general public doesn't understand it, but within the park . . . to be honest, nobody gives a fuck. Nobody cared when Sarah was seeing both of them at the same time. Honestly, the park is somewhat progressive for the time. Probably because they've seen stranger things.
I think it's important to note that you're probably the only person who hasn't called them stupid and really believes in their ability to change and like them as a person. This is really important because they're constantly put down by most people around them. They are kind of losers who think too highly of Ricky and Julian, but I think it's wonderful that in a relationship with you they can be themselves and really feel confident in themselves.
You probably get into a lot of fights about cleanliness, though.
I think it's kind of funny that you get them on a chore schedule LOL
You probably have to teach them how to read.
I mean . . . I don't know I think they're a bit out there. I like to think that they show up to your work (the library) and hang out for too long. You try to get them to leave and go do literally anything else because you're working, but they convince you that they can make their visit worth their time if you just give them a few minutes alone with you in a secluded section of the library . . . if you catch my drift ;')
I mean they don't do much other than work for Julian and Ricky, so they like to spend almost every waking moment with you.
Sleeping in the same bed means being stuck between both of them in a sandwich. It's hot and sweaty and sometimes uncomfortable because of that, but you wouldn't have it any other way. After all, two is better than one.

That julianXreader fic was absolutely amazing. Please write more JulianXreader fics or headcannons. There is so little of it in the fandom 🥺
Gosh, thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I feel similarly. I'm more of a Ricky guy and all I saw was one (very glorious) headcannon post. I've had this idea kind of swimming around in my head for a while but I haven't had anywhere to put it. This one's for you, bud!
Sometimes I think about a world in which Julian actually went to community college. In later seasons, I found myself disappointed with Netflix's continuation. To me, Seasons 1-7 are the only cannon ones. Though... I think my favorite seasons are about seasons 1-4ish. So let's talk about an AU where Julian went to community college
Julian at community college would be great. I think he'd be overwhelmed because he's no longer the smartest guy around. I mean, there's not much competition in the Trailer Park, aside from Bubbles, but I always thought that Julian saw Bubbles more as an equal.
I just know that Julian gets in trouble with campus police for carrying around that fucking rum and coke. They tell him he can't do that but he does it anyways. Eventually, he's just kind of known as that guy that carries around a rum and coke. Julian is nice enough so people just kind of let him do his own thing.
Maybe you meet Julian because you have a group project for Intro to Marketing and Media 101 or some shit like that? Like, the project is doing a commercial for a specific product and you're graded on the effectiveness or the product. It's a simple project you would typically find in a basic community college class.
I will say, Julian probably doesn't like you to begin with. I mean, you're probably smarter than him. Julian is the kind of guy to take people being smarter than him as a personal insult. Plus, he's used to being the smartest guy around. I think he'd be friendly, but he'd probably kind of condescend and try to take control of the entire fucking project.
You had other group members but they couldn't fucking stand Julian taking charge of the fucking project and they got the professor to let them split into another group. If you knew that was possible, you would have too - but now you and Julian are stuck together.
Julian has shit ideas, I'm sorry. They're not fun. He just wants to do a basic info-mmerical but you think that's super lazy. You wanna do something fun and pretend to sell something creative. He hates the idea and just wants an A. He's good at marketing... he's just not good at marketing the typical kind of stuff.
The two of you mostly meet on-campus because you live with your parents (to save money) and he doesn't want to bring you around the park because he's kind of embarrassed. Like yeah he loves his park family but also he'd be horrified if J-Roc asked you to star in an amateur porn film or if you had to talk to Ricky on a day where he was particularly belligerent.
Sexual tension. Sexual tension. Sexual tension. I like to think that Julian has this nasty habit of correcting literally any grammatical mistake you make because he feels like it makes him smart. That shit drives you crazy and god you just want to shake the fuck out of him.
But I don't know, there's just something about Julian you like you can't quite place your finger on.
I kind of like the idea that you have a crazy fucking ex-boyfriend who thinks he's big and bad and follows you around? You didn't tell Julian about it because you didn't believe it was his business, it wasn't like you were even friends
But I think what really brings y'all from just being group partners to being friends is that one day your ex confronts you as you're leaving class and is just straight harassing you. Your ex is a big strong guy, nobody is stepping in to even call campus police and you feel so alone.
You may kind of piss Julian off but he really does like you and respect you, plus he hates seeing a lady getting accosted. He's a criminal but he favors himself to be a gentleman.
Julian confronts your ex and it breaks out into basically a pissing match, toe to toe. I like to think your ex threatens Julian, but Julian is kind of a crazy fuck when you think about it. I mean he did cock the gun Cyrus was holding and put it to his head, so this feels like nothing.
"You think you're a big tough guy picking on a lady, huh? I bet you feel so strong when you make her feel so scared, right? Make you feel real good? Like you're getting revenge. If you're gonna come toe-to-toe with someone, square up with someone you're own size. Come on, hit me. Hit me. I said hit me. That's right, that's what I thought, you're nothing but a fucking punk. Where I come from, we chew posers like you up and spit them out. Next time you come around her, you better think twice."
You're so grateful that Julian stood up for you but also that was kind of hot . . . I think that's where your attraction starts, but you thank him for his help.
The two of you get closer. I mean you two are on the phone fucking 24/7 late at night talking about things that aren't class related. You've got him asking shit like...
"Where are you from? Oh, I've never been there. What's it like?" "Do you know any good food places around campus?" "What's your favorite food?" "Are you a liquor gal or a wine gal?" Bubbles and Ricky definitely take the piss out of him, but he keeps you far away from the park lol.
I mean he comes over to work on the project and your family is home and he unintentionally meets your parents. Your dad isn't too keen on him but your mom is almost obsessed. He's such a nice guy and all of that. It makes him feel guilty because he really doesn't truly consider himself all that nice of a guy.
I just love the idea that he sneaks you into the park at like 2am because he knows everyone is asleep and he doesn't want anyone knowing what he's up to. He sneaks you in and out. Usually you two are extra quiet because Ricky lives in his fucking front yard, but or the most part you two are very hush-hush. He says it's because he wants to be able to work on the project without any distractions which is actually a valid excuse considering how fucking crazy his neighbors are.
Except you two definitely don't work on the project that night.
You're not a big fan of the imbalance, as you feel like you've met all of his family and you've met no-one close to him.
At some point, Ricky catches you sneaking in at the middle of the night.
"What the fuck are you doing? Are you trying to break into Julian's house? Julian! JULIAN! SOMEONE IS TRYING TO BREAK INTO YOUR HOUSE." It's a fuck-fest because Ricky is fucking yelling and screaming.
Julian tries to get Ricky to shut the fuck up but by now, the entire park is out trying to see what the fuck is going on.
"Holy fuck Julian why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend? She's hot. I would've covered for you if you just would've let me know!"
I like to think that you do get some shit from idiots in the park and some uncomfortable questions, but you grow to really enjoy the people there - even Lahey, who is endearing in his own drunken way.
You end up using all of the people in the park for your little commercial and that shit is so funny. You're probably selling something insane, like tickets to see The Green Bastard or something like that. It's actually a lot of fun and really endearing, though it was a fucking hassle to make.
I don't know, I just love the idea of Julian meeting someone from community college and being fucking happy for once because that man is always fucking miserable
Bonus content: I think Julian's love-language is touch. I like to think he's subtle about it, like placing a hand on your shoulder. He's the kind of guy to hug you the moment the door closes behind you.
Julian doesn't say I love you first because of trauma and stuff, but when you tell him that you love him the dude tries to hide just how fucking ecstatic he is but definitely showers you in affectionate kisses.
I like to think that you move in with him.
Of course, there's drama surrounding his dope operation when you find out that he grows and sells on the side, it actually really upsets you, but this is a happy post and I'll save the angst for later.
Hopefully that kind of gives you a Julian fix. I love story-based AUs because I can give general ideas and people can kind of come up with their own little plot points in between.
