you can always tell the difference between a homegrown fan edited gif and a corporate generated one made to try and be cool and hip with the kids. fandom curated gifs are tended to by loving hands. high framerates or tastefully low. color corrected. sharpened but not too overtly. Small but readable text. Corporate ones are rushed, messy, raised like slaughterhouse pigs and fed nonorganic slop. It's shameful
