Restrictions i was dealing with: -No vibrant colors -No shading/rendering/textures -Thick lines instead of thin ones -No background -Full toony instead of semi realism

I think I pulled it off! I hope you guys think so as well! I was going to do this challenge with an anthro character of mine (specifically thorn) as well but I am not confident enough with humanoid anatomy yet to heavily stylise it and find a good pose at the same time so I had to give up on that because i was getting frustrated to hell rip Anyway I hope you guys like it! I think he would be a bit disgruntled at the nickname Eddie if it was from a stranger or coworker. Friends are on thin ice. If a significant other or family would call him eddie it would be fine and maybe even endearing to him. Ed or Ned are open to be used by everyone though :) It's just Eddie that sounds so..undignified and immature (dont know what other word to use) just dont call him that unless you are very close to him. One day late for appreciate a dragon day but here is a huge expression sheet for the Eddy boy! How this came about is that i wanted to get back into drawing yesterday but I was anxious and didnt know what to draw. So I started doodling edward expression heads and then i had a page full and then i hypefocused on them and lined and colored all of them fglkdjgdldgf However since i was so lightheaded and out of it yesterday i decided not to post it yet because i felt like i could do better. Im glad i did because i completely redrew 3 of the expressions, added all the colorful background blobs and doodles and handwrote the meme text because the typed text i initially had just looked dead to me So here we are after hours of fiddling! Still feel like it could be a bit better but i dont want to work on it any longer. I also feel like my style is somewhat changing? Like im finally able to push it more? Since no OC was specified, I answered these for the main 5 (Thorn, Edward, Rechor, Aurora and Crom) 🧡 ORANGE HEART — does your oc tend to prioritize family or friends? Thorn: Family! Though it's the family he adopted. He doesn't really know of the family he does have (Aurora and Crom) because rorie likes it that way. As far as Thorn knows his parents died centuries ago. Thorn doesn't have too many true non superficial friends but he does protect and treasure those he does have. If he had to pick between them in a life threatening situation though, it would be his family he would prioritise saving. Edward: Family. But there is a problem. He was yoinked away from his loving family (parents and siblings) by thorn about 8 years ago so now he is only able to contact them through mail and video chatting because thorn won't allow him to leave and he doesn't want his family to come into contact with thorn. So he is. Suffering. Rechor: Friends! The only family he really cared about (his dad) abandoned him in his teens and he has a complicated relationship with his mom and despises his lil bro. So yeah, he cares more about his friends, however few he might have. He also doesn't quite see Thorn as family though he still respects him a lot and would happily fight for him. Crom: Family, specifically his "mom" Aurora. He absolutely hates Thorn but for Aurora he would do anything. He wants her approval and attention so so bad, just please look how good he is at torturing mortals why arent you looking at me, its that stupid little brother of mine hogging all the attention is he??? I'll fucking kill him. (Crom is unable to see any faults in Aurora because he was "programmed" that way. Also this is an answer i had to edit because my brain freaking forgot about aurora being croms family eventhough i mentioned her and crom being related before and after this ask fdoigjgdfg) Aurora: doesn't really have friends or family. I mean there is astron who created her and the rest of the pantheon from whomst she cut herself off. And then there are her creations Crom and Thorn but she doesn't really have a familial relationship with them. She finds Crom too clingy and she made it so Thorn doesn't know she even exists to prevent another clingy annoying child. Sable is the closest she has to a friend but still he is just a mortal looking after her most treasured creation. They have banter sometimes but thats as friendly as it gets. She doesnt really let anyone bring down her many high icy walls around her heart..She doesnt want to go through heartbreak again.. (putting the other questions under the cut so this doesnt take up your entire feed lmao)

🔺 RED TRIANGLE POINTED UP — does your oc know how to use any weapons?

Thorn: He knows how to use a gun and carries one with him but he prefers to only use his natural weapons (horns, claws, teeth, fists, etc) Edward: Since moving to Isla Dracon, he has been taught how to use a gun by thorn so he can use it in emergencies. He however is not a fan of guns at all and prefers to use his fists or at the most brass knuckles. Rechor: He is proficient in all kinds of knife combat. Throwing knives, daggers, butterfly knife, switchblades, if it's a short bladed weapon he knows how to use it skillfully to kill you as fast as possible. Not to mention he has a sharp blade at the end of his tail that could slice you in half. He also has extremely deadly venom stored in his fangs, but he doesn't use it too often since it takes a lot of time and energy to produce more once his venom reserves are empty. But it's a good way for fast easy kills from a distance. Just lace a throwing knife with it and the job is done. He is a very skilled hitman who barely ever fails. Crom: He is a proficient swordsman, wielding a giant magic cutlass that causes extreme bloodloss and cursed slow healing wounds. Then if you are slain with the sword your soul gets sent straight to Rorie. After his sword, his dark magic is what he uses most in combat. Using his natural weapons are usually reserved for inflicting torture and abuse as well as his leviathan form. Aurora: She can probably summon a staff in anthro form but come on she is a goddess of dark magic and ice. She doesn't need weapons.

One is a goddess and the other two are her creations that she basically uploaded her knowledge to and then they expanded their knowledge through life experience Edward: Probably completed a bachelor's degree in something at a super fancy expensive English university/college. I'm not sure what though. Maybe art history? English literature? Classical Music?? I really don't know Rechor: Dropped out of highschool because fuck school. Got crimes to commit. Still he isnt stupid by any means. He knows a lot about the culture and history of France, has a very good grasp on anatomy, and he is also very streetsmart.

Rechor can currently speak French, English and Spanish! French and Spanish are his native languages while English was something he had to learn when moving to the island to work for Thorn so he can communicate with everyone more effectively. Augh that's a hard one uuuuhhhh He is a bit of a neat freak. Likes to keep everything nice and tidy. Will shower and throw his clothes in the wash after a fight as soon as possible because he hates being dirty. He is a bit iffy around blood. Like small amounts are fine. But if there is a lot of it just pooling or splattered around he would probably start to feel lightheaded. Blood drawing and getting stitches also get him lightheaded and he might even faint if he accidentally catches a glimpse of what they are doing to him. Just blood and needles, no thank you. Yes he is a boxer but like those amounts in fights are fine, just...try not to give the opponent to serious of an injury and wash yourself after asap if you get blood on yourself. I feel like he would judge you if you mistreat a book. Like dogearing pages, or spilling drinks on them, scribbling in them, ripping pages etc. Just use a bloody bookmark like a civilised person and treat books with some basic respect! Thorn's number 1 favorite hobby is spending time with his hoard! Sorting them, cleaning them, admiring them, feeling them. Just makes him really happy A related hobby of his is going to the saturday harbor market to see if the antique and jewelry stands have anything he wants to add to his collection. He loves going to buy trinkets! He would go into antique stores but uh-those tend to be a lil crowded and with his sheer size he would be like a bull in a china shop, even if he takes on his human form and he is super careful. He doesnt want to risk knocking things over and he is also mildly claustrophic, so he is not a fan of crowded spaces :( So he mostly just goes to the market every saturday to check for trinkets (and to see if he can find and snatch dan selling his "wares" there) Im trying to think of a third hobby. Maybe he would be into wood wittling? He spend a part of his early life amongst mortals living in a cabin in the woods after all. He had to have had something to keep him occupied while he was getting everything set up. Probably likes making small wood sculptures of his employees and also snow. No knives necessary, he just uses his claws.

What rorie wants most is get her full powers back and prove to her creator Astron that mortals do not deserve to be served and looked after by the gods without any second thought. Mortals should fear the gods! Mortals should be doing everything in their power to worship the gods and make sacrifices to them instead of just taking their gifts without as much as a thank you. She feels mortals show barely any appreciation and just exploit the gods for their boons without repayment. She will do her best to make the mortals pay, even with her limited powers. She will spread chaos, fear, suffering and death until these mortals finally pay for the hurt they cause.

Crom mannerisms hmmm... He tends to be quite loud. He yells a lot and barely ever speaks quietly. Stealth isn't really his thing, he usually brute forces his way through everything.

This is because in reality these are his other 4 eyes that are hidden away as markings in his anthro form to be a bit less conspicuous. He will glow more intensly the angrier he gets. Crom's temper is so short its nearly non existent. Like he will explode in rage at the tiniest insult or show of disrespect. It makes it fun to bully him from afar but always make sure you can get away in time or you are so so dead Crom hates clothes. They thinks they are too restrictive and get in the way. However if made to wear loose clothing like a robe, he will begrudgingnly discover that he does enjoy having access to pockets to easily have access to his things instead of having his sirens hold on to his possesions for him. Still he prefers to be nude. He hates it if he is stuck in one place for too long. He will get restless and agitated and will quickly resort to violence if he isnt able to leave. He in general quickly resorts to violence. Commiting violence brings him joy. Fastest way to get him to chill out is to give him a person to abuse. Whenever he doesnt have access to a designated person to use as a toy or plaything as he calls it, he is more irritable and his entire crew will feel it. Well except for the two sirenbrothers that always follow him around singing him praises and worshipping him. Greyback and Chomp are the only crew members who never face abuse from him. At most Crom might give them a glare or slightly verbally snap at them if he isnt in the mood to be tended to but otherwise, he would never hurt them. They are always in his vicinity and the only ones who can soothe him and make this heartless man feel the tiniest semblance of love. No romantic feelings though but they do get frisky sometimes (they always are submissive to him of course).

The answer for both of them is they are too cool to go to school :D They got/get their knowledge and skills from their creator goddess Rorie and through experience! I would say Crom is the most knowledgeable on the past and the universe and world in general while Thorn has more knowledge about modern life, business, valuable objects, diplomacy and how to build familial and friendly relationships. Thorn mostly stays on isla dracon apart from a few business trips while crom never stays in one place for too long and has sailed all over the world. Okay so I was writing context on this on my phone and then the app rudely closed because of Tumblr auto update and I had to take a break to be mad about it but I'm back now and ready to provide context

First of: Seal did a fucking amazing job as always and I love their art so much and commissioning them is always such a treat, I highly recommend them as they never disappoint uwu

Okay now context on this commission I got from them!:

In ancient times, Thorn (the smaller dragon in this image though that's just perspective because my mans is 9 foot tall) was a giant draconic beast known as the behemoth who resided in the mountains. The nearby villages worshipped him as a god and brought him many offerings of gold and blood sacrifices in hopes to save their villages from his destructive wrath. In this time, idols and statues are made in his image (such as this one), again in worship. However after a number of years, the nearby mines run dry and they do not have anything more to offer. Thorn, enraged, rampages and destroys the villages and its people, until only mere ruins are left. The largest statue (which is this one) is the only one that survives the rampage though the head and the wings broke off. After his rampage and everything being dead and destroyed, he retreats to his cave and falls into a deep slumber for hundreds of years (don't ask me how long, I still need to make a proper timeline and I'm not looking forward to it)

Anyway during this time, the few survivors of the onslaught flee to the southern coast and establish a new city that soon grows bigger and bigger being supplied with riches from the sea and sea trade. This city is now known as Auron city. As the centuries pass, people have forgotten about the old golden behemoth god or see it as mere legends. Expeditions are made to the old ruins to see what they can find and hopefully discover more on their history. They come across the giant statue and are in awe of it. They painstakingly move it to the city's art history museum and restore it to as good as a condition they can get. Then give it a few more decades, and thorn finally wakes up from his slumber and takes on a new identity as an anthro dragon named Thorn Aurello, moves into the city and becomes a wildly successful and rich businessman (and mob boss). When he visits the art museum for the first time, he is pleasantly surprised to find the statue and now often visits the exhibit to reminisce on the days that he was seen as a god :) he hopes to get back to it some day but that needs work to be done first

Okay I explained that extremely poorly because my brain is like goopy grey depression pudding right now and also I'm tired and keep all my lore in my brain instead of written down in a neat organised way somewhere but I hope it made some sense?
