Was Beck better than Candace?
Beck... was everything to me. No one could ever be like her.

I... don't know how I feel about it. There is a lot going on yet nothing at the same time?
BookTok feels like my experience working at and managing Mooney's. Everyone's buying some book because the author is famous or that the book is mainstream.
What ever happened to getting books you want to read?
Anyway, I can handle the normal and civilised BookTok people. At least some people have morals.
I want to hear Joe Goldberg’s thoughts on BookTok, he’d definitely have something to say.

do you have any book recommendations? I'm in a slump and wanna bet into it again
I'm a little rusty with my book recommendations, but I'll give it a try.
As cliche as it sounds, read Desperate Characters by Paula Fox. It's worth it.
I'm also currently re-reading Crime and Punishment. Again, very cliche, but it is a classic!

Mainly spending it on the bookstore... And some other things, but you'll find out soon enough.
Taking care of books is expensive! I'm not sacrificing perfectly good books, especially when they have so much value.

How have you been Joe?
You doing good? Emotionally and Phsycologically?
New York has been.... Well, just about the same it's always been. It's good to be back home.
...I suppose.
Emotionally or psychologically- however you want to put it, it's been a hell of a ride.
A lot (and I mean a lot) of press and interviews, some other things involving Kate, and whatever the fuck else happens here in New York.
Otherwise, I'm not too bad.
As you know, I recently bought a bookstore. Been hard to get all the paperwork, the books, etc, but hey. It's getting along.
