My life under the Ehlers-Danlos Hypermobility/Type 3 big top trying to manage this syndrome and the multiple other disorders and issues that fall under it.
It took 30 years to get a proper diagnosis and I did the majority of the work to figure it out. Sadly not an uncommon story.
Official Diagnoses: Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, Fibromyalgia
Things on the List to Discuss: Gastroparesis, CCI (I think we're going to sort of be treating my neck issues as CCI a little)

if you feel you wasted this year, i promise you didn't. rest and relaxation and recovery is worth all the time in the world. time spent lost to mental illness, abuse, etc is not your fault. you have so much time to thrive. you'll get closer this year, i know it.

Been working super hard on myself and made a ton of progress over the last two months especially and I don't know if it's the holiday or or that my narcissist has taken notice but wheeeew! They've gotten worse (I hear this is normal for them when you finally start handling them like they don't exist or matter).
Taking a day for my feels because grief on top of my grief and just plain exhausted by that person on rapid fire mode. I'm not gonna be brought down though.

Lohtu💧
A colored ink on watercolor paper painting for my solo exhibition in the fall of 2023. I wanted to depict a variety of emotions and feelings in the pieces I made for this show. Lohtu is Finnish and means ‘solace’.
