Y'all, the world is sleeping on what NASA just pulled off with Voyager 1
The probe has been sending gibberish science data back to Earth, and scientists feared it was just the probe finally dying. You know, after working for 50 GODDAMN YEARS and LEAVING THE GODDAMN SOLAR SYSTEM and STILL CHURNING OUT GODDAMN DATA.
So they analyzed the gibberish and realized that in it was a total readout of EVERYTHING ON THE PROBE. Data, the programming, hardware specs and status, everything. They realized that one of the chips was malfunctioning.
So what do you do when your probe is 22 Billion km away and needs a fix? Why, you just REPROGRAM THAT ENTIRE GODDAMN THING. Told it to avoid the bad chip, store the data elsewhere.
Sent the new code on April 18th. Got a response on April 20th - yeah, it's so far away that it took that long just to transmit.
And the probe is working again.
From a programmer's perspective, that may be the most fucking impressive thing I have ever heard.

Sometimes their actions do the talking. It’s a critical part of racing— knowing what to do to best suit your partner. To be able to instinctively read your partner’s needs and accommodate that. Two puzzle pieces melding together. Maybe False is right. Maybe dancing will be a good exercise.

hmm. okay this one makes me bad at vegetarianism admittedly but. bacon sandwiches. untoasted white bread + bacon + ketchup. reminds me of my irish grandparents' house bc that's something that we usually have for breakfast/late lunch... terrible greasy breakfast food my beloved... but also I never actually eat this because again, I'm usually vegetarian, and also I haven't gone to visit them very often in recent years so like. well it's a special treat. you understand. but that is what I would call comfort food to me

hmm I am torn between tubbo hoodie (the red one) bc it's bulky and comfy (genuinely really good quality merch I was surprised ngl. but it's great) and I wear it a lot, and this one pair of black cargo shorts simply because I loveee having a million pockets in summer it's great. so I will say both actually

Morning
It is thirty seven minutes past two in the morning. Felps is driving, slow and deliberate but without any clear destination in mind; Mike should be navigating, but unless they have a destination there is no real point. He checks the back in the front mirror - Pac is sitting by the window, staring out at the nearly empty streets, running a hand through Richarlyson's hair. Richas himself is in the middle seat, on his booster and curled into Pac's side.
The leftmost seat sits empty of anything but Richarlyson's foot.
Where do they go, though? There are not many places they know in the city, and fewer still that would welcome them this late.
Or, 9 months after the events of Relative, the Favela household have long been driven into the dust. Mike is, despite everything, doing his best to keep them alive.

people who are right now helping each other survive via connections they initially forged by liking the same sailor moon girl or something
