The E 4th Street Community Garden serves the Kensington & Windsor Terrace neighborhoods in Brooklyn, NY.
The garden is open to the public April through October, 3 days a week:
Wednesdays: 4:30pm–6:30pm
Saturdays: 9am – 1pm
Sundays: 10am – 2pm

The East Fourth Street Community Garden is hosting its spring flea market fundraiser on Saturday, May 4 (9am-3pm). Due to rain forecast on Sunday, May 5, this will be a one day event only! Don't miss it!
Come check out an abundance of riches all priced to sell! You’ll find clothing for the whole family, toys, books, housewares, baked goods, and more.
Proceeds fund the garden’s operations and special events.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to budget cuts, Big Reuse is no longer collecting food scrap drop-off. This means the garden will NOT be collecting food scraps from the public this season. We encourage you to participate in DSNY's curbside composting program.

Hops Harvest Fest
Laura Dierks, Founder/CEO of Interboro Spirits and Ales, will teach us all about hops, hops farming, beer production and flavors. Find out exactly what makes those hops cones so special. All volunteer harvesters will also be entered in a raffle for prizes from the fest sponsors!

The East Fourth Street Community Garden is hosting its autumn flea market fundraiser on Saturday, October 7 (9am-3pm) and Sunday, October 8 (11am-4pm).

You’re invited to
Guided Meditations focused on Self-Compassion
In the Garden
A Self-compassion-focused guided meditation will be offered in the garden once a month over the Fall. Self-compassion mindfulness practices have been shown to reduce stress, anxiety, and depression. The practices focus on offering gentle kindness to oneself through body awareness, words, and imagery.
Meditation will be offered in the 4th Street Garden on:

On sale will be clothing for the whole family, toys, books, housewares, seedlings galore and other treasures. You never what you'll find! Proceeds will fund the garden's operations and special events for the year.
