I saw this on twitter but haven't seen it being shared here yet so:
During the moment Crowley shields Azi with his wing, a tiny star is created.
If you're into astronomy this may look familiar:
They created Alpha Centauri in this moment.
Their first display of love created the place that Crowley always wants to run away to with Aziraphale. He's taking Azi somewhere that's relevant to both of them because THEY MADE IT.
Just want to thank Good Omens and Our Flag Means Death for providing middle aged representation. The majority of the actors are over 40 and portray characters who are fierce, vulnerable, silly, passionate, complex, and sexy as hell. In a Hollywood world that worships youthful bodies and faces and thinks 25 is old, thank you for featuring a more mature cast. It鈥檚 refreshing.
i think something that people gloss over sometimes is the fact that Aziraphale is stuck on a one way road
he agrees to go to heaven? perhaps he can to back to earth, recover his bookshop, and fix heaven, everything is left open. he'd even have the choice to fall and go to hell (however unlikely)
he declines and leaves heaven? that's it. there's no going back, there's no choices, all his doors are shut and he's stuck there. no heaven, no hell, just earth, until the (perhaps imminent) end
it doesn't matter that he's been happy on earth for six thousand years. maybe he wasn't ready for heaven to be shut off for him
People saying that Aziraphale is into bad boys and Crowley is into good boys actually have it the wrong way around! You guys are just getting distracted by the Aesthetic!
Proof: Crowley got interested in Aziraphale when he started acting a bit bad aka unangelically while Aziraphale meanwhile has heart eyes every time Crowley does something Kind (tm).
