As someone who has lived in a lower income situation. Your points really don't make sense.

Just bc someone is skinny doesn't mean or imply that they aren't eating properly. I've always eaten more than I really should and I'm skinny. It's just my body shape. And tbh it's just Miles'. Miles was skinny and small before he got bitten. And 42 Miles was never bitten. Idk if you feel bc his race, he's supposed to be bigger or what. His dad was big yeah, but Uncle Arron ain't the biggest man either. He's tall, with a small waist, an wide shoulder . It just looks diff on Miles bc they're shorter. Hence them being 15 and not done growing.

The furniture thing doesn't mean anything. It's called prioritizing. Food, or New couch. Which do you think Rio chose... And ur talking about the villains, wage decrease all that. Yea wage decrease If she has more things to worry about, like pay bills, take care of miles, getting food, what money dose she have left over to save. You don't just move outta your ass. You gotta save money, and plan. So there's really nothing that implies that Miles 42 is "eating less" except he's poor. Which goes back to that thing that y'all think black people or People of color, can't provide for themselves, and we all starving and broke. Just like how y'all think about Africa. It's all a false narrative you see in the media, and y'all need to wake up.
