Seeing everyone talk about their lamb oc got me wanting to do the same
Say hello to Vera! Leader and keeper of the small cult village of Ovine!
(reference drawn by the beautiful and amazing @dragonsaltartales )
More about her under the break!
Vera went through a lot in her first 20 years of life before finally being found and put to the blade that placed the story into motion.
At first she was willing to do anything for The One Who Waits, especially if it meant she'd be able to avenge her fallen brethren, her mother, and her own life that the bishops found worth slaying mercilessly. However, when she met who would become her first follow, rescued from the hands of Leshy's zealot followers eager to sacrifice them, a great deal of her anger and hatred left her. All she saw was herself, her mother, her kind, in the sad cowering rabbit before her. From that point on she does all she can to be as kind and compassionate of a leader as she could be.
She's beloved by her following for her gentle hand, sweet voice, and merciful spirit. She isn't stupid or blind though, and punishes trouble makers as the should be. If she can bring peace within her own flock without bloodshed she will do it. (She's only ever been driven to kill a follower in broad day light once. An act she has zero regret over)
Despite how beloved she is none of her following know her name, save for a very select few. (Narinder, a very specific spouse, and her disciples). She is commonly addressed as "My Lady", "Beloved Lamb", or "Her/My Grace". No one knows why she keeps her name to herself.
Living on the lamb (heh) with her mother the first two decades of her life meant she knew a great deal about gathering herbs, crops, making necessities with her own hands, and crafting medicine. Even after achieving godhood, she still does many things by hand.
While crusading Vera enjoys using Daggers and swords, with the heaviest weapons she'd use being the axe or gauntlets. It was her speed and dexterity that kept her alive for so long before being caught, and it's what she still uses to her advantage. She also adores the wide variety of spells she know has on hand.
She always wears a bell on her person in some shape or form, but she most commonly uses the bell and it's ribbon as a hair tie, keeping her long locks neat and out of the way. It's her most prized possession, as it once belonged to her mother. When she was caught she had lost it, but after being brought back by The One Who Waits, he returned it to her as a gift of good faith. She fell head over heels then and there.

Grumpsona ref? Grumpsona ref!!
Meet Cherrly! They are friendly and shy, but are quite silly when they open up. Their blue fur and hair is really soft and plush. They have central heterochromia in both eyes (green and brown). She doesn’t ever eat Bugsnax as she would prefer petting and drawing them (she is also allergic-). Drawing is their passion and it aids in helping them mull over their reports. They mostly like to doodle others and animals, then occasionally video game characters (mostly Snak-man ghosts, to be honest). He has a few…stalking tendencies as well. This is mostly due to them wanting to get nice doodles of Grumps not ‘posing for the drawing’ so to speak. However, it has gotten her into trouble in the past.

-Ashwee- Cherrly’s wife and journalist partner! They met working at GNN. Ashwee complimented their art and it was downhill from that. The usual love story. Cherrly stalks someone she’s interested in and they find it endearing, the typical.
-Snorpy- Despite his initial suspicions of the duo, Cherrly quickly found him fun to be around. She loves to talk with him about his conspiracies and design of his inventions. In a way, they felt he was like-minded as an artist. The two seem to be able to talk forever together when they’re usually more distant with most others. Often they mull over conspiracies or solutions to various tasks.
-Chandlo- Naturally, you can’t be close to Snorpy without being close to Chandlo. At first, Cherrly was put off by his boisterous energy, but through seeing him interact with Snorpy, she got to see and appreciate his softer side. In turn, he managed to make them open up more and be more active. When they’re around him, they can’t help but find his smile and optimism contagious.

Capuceetle - Much to Ashwee’s dismay, Cherrly loves screaming with them
Incherrito - They have a pet one that they sing along with
DISGUST
-Cromdo- After seeing his sleazy practices and distrust of others, he is simply someone Cherrly avoids. Especially after he convinced Ashwee to steal from Triffany. They don’t trust him at all.
-Wiggle- While Cherrly relates to her in some ways, he also is wary of her intentions. From the multiple occasions of catching her trying to eat Gramble’s kin, Cherrly decided they prefer to keep Wiggle at arm’s length.

Millimochi, Cobhopper/Bannoppers, Deviled Eggler - “So annoying…”
FEARS
-Eggabell- While Cherrly thinks she is sweet for caring for the others, the way she constantly tries to diagnose things that aren’t happening makes Cherrly paranoid. They want to get to know her more, especially since Chandlo thinks so highly of her, but they can’t get past the tension Eggabell radiates.
-Floofty- …Does this need explaining…? Alright, well, their experiments scare him. Their lack of self preservation also worries her to no end, especially with how close Ashwee is to them. They’ve also heard plenty of horror stories from Snorpy, although, they know to take those with a grain of salt at times.

(Ashwee belongs to Bunn / @hunnybunnyburrows ! All the info was written by her, art by me, Cheru)
Here's Ashwee! She's laid back, easy going, friendly, but also hot headed and fiery at times. "What you see is what you get" isnt a phrase that works with Ashwee, as looking at her, one would expect a rough neck trouble maker. Leather jacket, intimidating tusks, with a snaggle tooth and all! But you'd be surprised to learn thag Ashwee hasn't even got a parking ticket! She just adores the rock/grudge aesthetic and knows she's cool and likes to look it! She finds Bugsnax interesting and loves messing with them, catching em, or just watching them do their thing. She tried one once and that’s all she cares to ever do (She swears her stomach has never been the same). They love to go about with their camera and Walkgrump, taking pictures of scenery and what she finds interesting, while also being on the hunt for the lastest undiscovered cryptid.

-Cherrly - Ashwee's journalist partner and beloved spouse!! Ashwee meet them while working at GNN and loved their art, and was sure to let them know it! Next thing she knows a coworker is pointing out how Cherrly had been silently following and sketching them for weeks without Ashwee's knowing...and how could anyone not find that adorable and endearing??? They start dating, fell in love, then got hitched. The usual fairy tale romance.
-Floofty - Look, it’s already clear that Ashwee loves em crazy. But in all honesty, Ashwee found them insanely fascinating (if not a little rude)...and easy on the eyes. But Ashwee found herself really enjoying Flooty's passion and, surprisingly, their compassion. They just want to make the world a better place at any cost. Sure it can be a little unhinged but how could anyone not grow to adore that?
-Chandlo - The purest grump she's ever met that wasn't Cherrly. Chandlo is a sweet, welcoming, fun loving guy who has everyone's best interest at heart. The dude believes in you more than you ever will. Like...come on. Bro builds homes for the homeless in his free time. Who doesn't love Chandlo?
-Wambus - Yeah he doesn't talk much and can come off stiff yet polite, but once you get to know the guy he's great! Ashwee enjoys listening to him talk about his garden, how to properly irrigate soil, and even just the weather. Wambus is someone she knows she can just go to when she wants to silently chill and hang. Also dude straight dunks on Chandlo, and threw a grumpus clean across a river. Wambus is a RIOT.
Babycake legs, Instabug, Charmallow - "These guys are the best...look at em go!! Living their best life!"
Eggler - "Aaaawww~"
Wee Mewon - Ashwee ADORES these weird little balls. She has a pet one that’s just a liiiittle more unhinged than the rest. She really looked at one that gave off the energy equivalent to a toddler hopped up on 20 pixie sticks and a whole cold brew and went "Yep that’s the one.”
-Sprout - Sprout!! The best boy!! The MVP!!! She loves this little guy and just how hyped he is to do EVERYTHING!
DISGUST:
None of the crew really disgust Ashwee. She worries for them more than anything. Everyone is going through their own thing and react differently to it. She believes everyone has their reasons and doesn’t like to hold it against em...even if she side eyes em from time to time.
Clumby - Ashwee's superior and the BANE of her existence. Ashwee is normally as chill as it can get but just the sound of Clumby slamming her table is enough to make it feel like a vessel is gonna burst. Ashwee hates how every story she wants to write about the newest and latest findings in the world of cryptozoology is met with mockery and dismissal. And don’t even get her STARTED on her Grumpfoot story.
