Ah, yes. One year ago today OneDrive took over my computer and decided to back up all my stardew valley mods off my computer and delete them from my hard drive, rendering them completely useless and holding my files hostage so I had to re-download every single one of them. OneDrive is now disabled on my PC and still haunts my notifications trying to get me to enable backups again. No thank you, digital demon.

And now its gloating over its victory via email.

I think I need to take a break from tumblr and focus on more important things for a while. Thanks for all who are sending well wishes and condolences, its just... a lot right now. All of it. Once I've processed some of this maybe I'll be back to my regular fandom and writing blogging but I think it will be a long time, if ever.

I'm so tired. I woke up at 5:30 Wednesday morning and its 3 AM Thursday now. My cat came and cuddled with me for a bit on the couch. I thought I saw my stepdad on the news feed and called my mom but I was wrong. He and my brother aren't at the reunification center. My sister is home and safe though. Mostly I feel numb right now. Dissassociated. Every time I think something happens I feel my feelings and start shaking but its still a waiting game right now.

my brother and stepdad went bowling tonight. in Lewiston, Maine. my mom can't get in touch with either of them and now she isn't answering me either. I don't even know what to do. How do I even find out if any of them are okay. I'm not going to sleep tonight. I might have to cancel work tomorrow. I live out of state from all of this. I just can't. I can't do anything.

And then the one version where after the reception you go back to his apartment but its very tense because they need to "talk"- maybe that's when he finds out. He's already by then promised to stay in her life as long as she wants (if I remember right anyway, its veen a few months since I played but I know what I'm doing later). Of course its a shock, but in true Baxter fashion he'd be more mad at himself than anything. Its the next day anyway they go and see her moms again I think. Their kid (hc daughter) has been with the grandmas during prep week. And now they're meeting for the first time. Its an entirely new way for the moms to first be mad and then smitten once he immediately is doting on the kid.

Liz though? She'd hire a bounty on his head immediately. He'd never make it through another year of college.
