The world has lost a fashion icon. French fashion designer Thierry Mugler, whose couture designs heavily influenced Naoko Takeuchi’s work in Sailor Moon, passed away yesterday. Mugler’s couture looks inspired the design for Queen Beryl’s dress, the looks for most of the Ayakashi Sisters (Koan, Berthier, & possibly Petz), & the couture dress that Hotaru wears. RIP
