All this talking about how TOS is cheap looking and campy as if it's a bad thing, but it's genuinely one of the prettiest shows I've ever seen.
Also all this talking on how it "didn't age well" with the visuals and pacing, but then it's so immersing with its themes and charm that when in S2E26 (Assignment: Earth) they traveled back to 1968 my girlfriend's first reaction was "Why specifically 1968???" not realizing it was the actual year they were filming the episode. For a whole minute she forgot this was a series from the 60s.
All I'm saying is that, to me, TOS is a timeless gem. It's pretty, it's charming and most of the themes are still pretty much relevant to this day.
can't believe they wrote an episode of Star Trek that consisted entirely of Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock making sweet passionate love for around 50 minutes. yeah it was never aired but they wrote it and it's accepted as canon. yeah, it actually won best cinematography. my source is Trust. i would never lie to you
Reminder that jkr basically funds a large portion of the terf movement in the UK and promoting harry potter and actively giving her money is helping fund that movement and is actively encouraging her and her followers because they see this as support
