I think the reason why I really like Arya is because from the very beginning, she did not only exemplify femininity and gender expression in an unconventional  way, it’s that the core morality of her character is generally on the good side. She saw her family's “servants” and other folks of less societal status still EQUAL to her, as men and boys are equal to her (hint: this is feminism)… Throughout all the seasons, although her persona does evolve into a darker being, her “dark transformation” has generally been guided by her morals from when she was a kid. She sees herself just like everyone else, everyone as equals… the butcher’s boy, Gendry, Jon, etc…. and I think that’s beautiful :)

And I just hate that her character is now described as a traumatized serial killer, with no control over her morals, values, or actions because she is a child… like, nope! She has agency. She made these choices based on who she already was becoming before the whole shenanigan happened with Ned and Cersei.

Arya is literally a self-empowered feminist without the ego or urge to rule over others. Because she doesn’t think she is of higher status than anyone. She refuses that role. That’s strength. That’s feminism.
