Alright everyone who’s confused about where I went, explanation time.
I had planned to run this blog on queue for the month of November while I was dealing with all my end of semester shit. Unfortunately tumblr’s queue seems to be broken, most posts are gone but not posted. No idea where they went. I’ll work on getting everything back up and posted this weekend.
I’m going to post a form for people who want to apply to be a mod sometime in the next week so this doesn’t happen again.

Holy..... I was just gonna submit a song and went through the list of submitted songs and there are SO MUCH. I hope you remember to take a break whenever you feel like you might need it!! Put your health and needs above anything else here!! It looks like a lot of work, I applaud you but I hope you're not too burnt out or anything, sorry if this ask seems weird I don't know how to socialize

Hello! and welcome to: 'Do You Like This Non-English Song?' ! Here we will attempt to share a wide range of songs - good and bad - old and new - that simply aren't in English!
The reason? Well, as someone who's first language isn't English, it feels like the world is so focused on the English language, on USAmerican and English culture - that at times other cultures get cast aside. I am aware that I may appear a bit hypocritical saying all of this in English, and that this way it may not reach as much of the target audience it may be trying to attract - but oh well. I don't know any better way of doing this.
Obviously anyone is welcome to this blog as long as you don't intend to behave discriminatory towards any culture !!!
• How polls will work:
Basically, the polls will have the song in question linked (through YouTube), and there will be a poll along with it asking "Do you like this song?" With the options being "No" and "Yes". Very typical, standard way of blog functioning, I am aware. It's as simple as it needs to be!
• Submission guidelines:
You can submit any non-english songs you want through the ask-box, ask any questions or attempt to conversate with me if you want to.
When submitting a song, provide the name of the song, the country it's from, and who made the song.
• Before you ask:
"Are songs containing English and another language at once eligible for submission?" Sure! Though if a song only has like, one word or sentence in another language and 99% of it is in English (eg. Amnesia Was Her Name by Lemon Demon) then I will not include it.
I hope I made myself and the purpose of this blog clear enough ! If you'd like, submit any songs you want, as long as theres not too much English in them. Let's share our cultures !! :)
