Barnes and Noble is just a store and my books are published through Penguin. As far as I'm concerned all sales are good sales. Usually, I say support your local bookstore/comic shop/library and ask them for it, but I also know books are expensive so a big discount like this is a great way for my audience to save money and boost my sales. Plus the more it gets purchased, the more it shows the store that people want it and they're more likely to put keep it on their shelves when it comes out. I still get texts from friends and family across the country that the first book is at their local BN, which means people OUTSIDE of my usual audience are also buying it. I wouldn't be sharing the sale if I was getting screwed over! (that being said, bookshop.org is a great alternative to big corps and supporting indie stores while still getting books online)

I'm not familiar with this band at all! Looks like they were around when I was in college and fully in my goth frat boy party rock era. But listening to a few songs this is definitely in line with what they'd listen to. (if anyone makes their own hellaween playlists you have to tag me so I can see) You are correct, I don't take commissions. Outside of my books I still work full time in animation so any other art I do is for me and me only!

Do you have any voice actor claims for the Hellaween cast? also finished watching Monster High Season 1 on DVD and is a pretty cute show and apparently you direct on it, that's so cool, it has become my favorite modern Nicktoon as of late, so hoping it gets a third season on the future.

Answered this pretty recently! maybe I should make a FAQ page for common questions like voice claims, favorite video games, whatever. In the mean time, I tag all my asks with "ask dinolich" if anyone wants to check past responses. and thank you! for that and for supporting the show. I co-directed the season 1 finale and on season 2. I've loved working on it, so fingers crossed it continues to do well and we get to make more.

Have you heard "The Invasion from Within" by Tsunami Bomb? Every time I hear it, I think of the antics of the Hellaween characters going along with the song and it's a great headspace to be in.
