[canon] Frost Queen bloodline over the many many years. Mind you there's a 450 year gap between Squall and Ice Fissure so none of those ladies are there. Starting with the ice of an elemental, the bloodline slowly would mix with milk and coffee, eventually making some very powerful cookies in the end.
But poor Mocha. He just had to go and be born looking the most like Cal. So the Coffee Tribe kept him and branded him with a magic seal to keep his magic locked away in an effort to stop him from fulfilling the prophecy.

I have been absolutely obsessed with Cal getting turned back into his child self because awhhhh look at the babyyy"

right side frost queen colors because why not
As a child, they'd only trust other women because the boys in the local village would bully them. They've never seen a man up close before. So suddenly being turned back into his baby self, the Cacao Kingdom is an absolutely terrifying place to be if you're afraid of men. The only way that they're growing close to any other guys is by forced proximity or by being saved from danger (right side of above drawing)
