I should not have disappeared like that, ugh. School got started up for me again and I got swallowed up by another RP that I've been revamping, and any other RPs just kinda got pushed to the side. The time has come to talk about ships.
Considering that this is obviously an extremely ship-centric RP, I figured I'd have to make this post sooner or later.
Obviously, there were no set endgames from the beginning of the RP- the reason for that being I simply wanted everyone to find their ship based on chemistry. However, this doesn't mean there are no set endgames at all. As you can all see, there is a little sentence in every character biography stating that his/her endgame is "undetermined". Ideally, over the next couple of weeks all those 'undetermined's will be replaced by another character's name.
I've seen a few different ships starting to form in the RP which is absolutely wonderful, but the last thing I want is for anyone to feel rushed into finding an endgame. Take some time, figure out who your character has chemistry with, message the player OOC and plot with them a bit, think it over before jumping into things. Then, once you and the other person involved are both in agreement on the matter, both players must message me OOC and the endgame will become official.
Of course, this does not mean that you get to ignore all the other players once you've found your endgame. The last thing I want is for this RP to turn into five 1x1s. You should still be interacting/plotting with your siblings. Building non-romantic relationships with other characters. And hey, midgame ships are highly encouraged as well! Don't just get your ship together and call it a day, because that's boring and no one will know where to go from there.
Another point that I feel I really need to stress is just a reminder to ship realistically. A lot of people tend to get overexcited about an endgame and rush the entire relationship, but just don't. Ask yourself, 'would a real person do this?' Don't have the characters saying 'I love you's after three weeks of dating, and don't have them breaking up and getting back together over and over and over again within a short span of time. Just take things slow and keep it as realistic as possible.
Which brings me to my final, probably most important statement of all- be active. Be dedicated. Be invested. Even though you may not know it yet, you are somebody's ship partner within the RP. Don't let them down, since I can tell you firsthand that it really sucks to have an unreliable ship partner who's only online for like twenty minutes every day. If I see anyone in this group who is maintaining what I like to call half-assed activity, I will remove them just like I would remove an inactive player. It's so important, especially in such a small, ship-centric RP like this one, to be as dedicated to both your partner and the RP as much as you possibly can.

Hi, loves.
So, after thinking about it a bit I've decided to drop Henley- I'm just really not connecting with her character at all and I feel like I can't get inside her head. I'll still be playing the oldest Fabray, just creating a new, different character. I figured it would be better to just do this now, rather than waiting until Henley had already built up relationships in the RP. I'm so so sorry, and I hope you all understand.

We're still waiting on a couple more accounts, but I can't even say how thrilled I am that this RP took off the way it has. Now all we need is for everyone to just be active, that's all I ask of you. I think we're doing an amazing job with it so far, but consistence is key. The last thing I want is to be forced to re-open roles again!

Since Chase was young, everyone could tell her was a very bright kid, but he always would rather spend his time causing trouble than doing his homework.
During high school he had many on and off relationships, and most of the time he didn't really care for the girl, but more for her looks. Throughout college he tried searching for his "soul mate", but after getting his heartbroken a few times and losing focus on his studies, he gave up and now doesn't want to waste his time with relationships.
For college he attended Yale, where he discovered his interest in the advertisement business -- the money attracting him at first.
The only reason he moved to London was because he got an amazing job offer at an advertisement firm there.
He loves his brothers, and would do anything for them, but isn't very good at showing it because of his self-centered and smart ass ways.
Chase's biggest fear is not having a job, and not being able to provide for himself, so money and how he can work his way up in the ranks of his job is always on his mind.
