Back in early October my Mom and I went to see Springsteen on Broadway. The next morning we walked by the Richard Rodgers Theatre, home to @hamiltonmusical, to see about tickets. Today, six months later, we made the trip back to NYC with Eric and my Dad, to finally see the show. What we saw was amazing, smart, funny, and rather life changing. The cast was effortless. I laughed, I cried, I wanted to sign along. There aren’t many Wednesday that can top seeing this show today with Eric and my parents. (at Hamilton: An American Musical)

Sometimes the best plan is no plan! Our goal was to visit all three hotels on the monorail for a bit of a monorail crawl...the reality was we only made it 2/3rds of the way around 🙃 Though we had the best intentions, we only made it to the Polynesian for a visit to Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace (and a Shrunken Zombie Head and Mosquito Mojito) and Mizner’s Lounge and Citricos at the Grand Floridian - and enjoyed every stop, SUP and bite along the way! Every weekend should end with a Watermelon Pink Flamingo Margarita and (one of my most favorite) Guacamole & Chips at @fronteracocina at @disneysprings in @waltdisneyworld! (So grateful that was the case 2 weeks ago. Now take me back!) (at Frontera Cocina)

Desperately missing sunshine, warmth and palm trees today. Though Eric’s birthday was on Friday, we kicked off the celebration last weekend with a trip to Princeton, NJ. On our way we made a stop at @thereferendbierblendery - and holy crap, what a cool place. We tried the OED and The Iceman Cometh and quickly wanted to work our way through every bier they had available. (at The Referend Bier Blendery)

When the @shopterrain Chocolate Truffle Making Workshop is BYOB, we bring craft beer: @alesmithbrewing My Bloody Valentine Ale. If you hav an opportunity to check out one of Terrain’s workshops, do it! We had so much fun, learned a ton, and a major bonus from this class, we brought home so many yummy chocolate truffles! We celebrated Valentine’s Day at home on Wednesday with Chicken Rollatini with Prosciutto and Parmesan, Pesto Parmesan Baked Tomatoes, Baked Pears with Walnuts and Honey (@skinnytaste Recipes fit the win!), @treathouseny Valentine goodies, and of course, craft beer: @dogfishhead Romantic Chemistry and @kneedeepbrewingco Stoutello (in our fancy new @bcompleted Lipstick Glasses from IKEA!)

On Thursday we wore green. And black. And celebrated our @philadelphiaeagles Super Bowl Champions! After the parade my nephew and I headed to @wildwingcafe to catch the Art Museum ceremonies, and to warm back up and fill our bellies. I toasted the historical day with @ludlamisland Wrestling Moves (and tots and #chicken feathers”!) What a day! (at Wild Wing Cafe)

Before one of the most exciting nights in Philadelphia sports history, we took a trip to @evilgeniusbeer to pick up our crowler of Fly Like an Eagle Cherry Water Ice IPA, or as I know it, wooder ice.
