FundsForGaza is a page of a rotating list of fundraisers for Gazans - individuals and families who are in Gaza right now and facing genocide.

It is explained in more detail in this post from the official instagram account, but to quickly summarise, six verified fundraisers are highlighted at a time, allowing you to provide direct support without being overwhelmed by the amount of fundraisers, worrying about outdated information, or falling for scams.

Sharing this link and, if you are able to, donating even one dollar to one of the fundraisers listed will make a direct difference.

Moataz @moatazart, Mariam, and baby Maria are set to make the dangerous journey from Gaza City in the north to Rafah in the south. From there, God willing, they will enter Egypt.

HOWEVER, the money they had allocated to procure shelter and food while in Egypt was utterly depleted by exploitative fees and hidden costs, which we break down in this post. Moataz speaks more on the situation in this post and on his own blog @moatazart, which we ask people to follow and boost. They have a fund going to raise the remaining money, but the fund only has a week and a half left before it closes! They are not even halfway to their goal!

Please share what you can with Moataz’s family so they can find safety and security in Egypt! They have no one in Egypt with whom they can stay and currently nowhere near enough money to secure shelter! After all they have survived, please don’t let this young family be left vulnerable! If they cannot procure food and shelter, they will be extremely vulnerable not only to the dangers of homelessness, but to groups and individuals who prey on refugees!

Safety for Gazan refugees does not end with leaving Gaza! If this campaign is not finished in LESS THAN 2 WEEKS, they will be homeless in Egypt! They are so close to a fresh start, please don’t let all the risks they are taking to find safety be for nothing!

hey again, beryl here! eternally thankful for all the help with getting me what i need to apply for+start my electrician apprenticeship! i am making this post because i need help paying our share of rent this month ($554 due 5/1). im still waiting on a few documents before i can even apply for my apprenticeship, and i have been applying to jobs in the meantime, but i havent heard back from anywhere so we are definitely going to need help so we can keep our housing. anything folks can spare helps a ton!

i (of course) still need help unfortunately. i have been able to enroll in an herbalism course, and classes start May 1, but i am lacking a lot of the equipment i will need for my coursework (as it was lost when i became homeless and had to move cross-country back in November). so, i am back again to ebeg for help. i have already tried looking into local buy nothing groups to try and source the supplies i need that way, but i also added a bunch of the equipment i need to my registry (which also includes things that would improve my wife and i's quality of life drastically), and would appreciate if folks could chip in monetarily (c, v, p) so i could buy the herbs and ingredients that id need to get from an irl store.

as a disabled person with no access to any sort of medical care due to a bunch of circumstances outside of my control, i am desperate for an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills that could go a long way towards helping me to be able to at least manage my symptoms on my own until i can regain access to insurance and medical care. i also am very interested in and passionate about herbs and plants, and am excited to be able to learn and incorporate herbalism into my spiritual practice. please please consider helping me out !!

People often say to me: “You draw like some kind of inhuman machine.  If I eat your brain, will I gain your power?”  The answer is yes, but there is another way. The key to precise drawing is building up muscle memory so that your arm/hand/fingers do the things you want them to do when you want them to do them.  Teaching yourself to draw a straight line or to make sweet curves is just a matter of practice and there are some exercises you can do to help improve. If you’re going to be doodling in class or during meetings anyway, why not put that time to good use?

Help a trans couple flee hostile red states

Our city's trans community is going to be receiving a trans lesbian couple fleeing from a state not safe for trans people. Our community is pooling what we can but we could use help providing food and shelter to our sisters while they look for income and a place to rent. Any amount at all would be greatly appreciated. Arab medical students and doctors in the US formed the Palestine Anti-Zionism Society (later known as the Palestine National League and then the Arab National League) as early as 1917 to protest the Balfour Declaration, the British government’s statement that called for the establishment of a “national home for the Jewish people’’ in Palestine.

The group published 1921’s “The Case Against Zionism” text and testified before Congress against the establishment of a Zionist state. The students also battled the negative depictions of Arabs that were spreading across the country alongside the Zionist movement.

More than 100 years ago, two members of the group told Congress what pro-Palestinian students across America are saying today: “Palestinians are not as backward as the Zionists portray them. They are entitled to a chance to build their own homeland…”
